Even though they "look" the same, the design and/or construction of these was much more robust than the ones available in the "big box" stores. Not sure what exactly the difference is, but these were better. Obviously these are not the plastic handled ones. Don't even waste your money on those. Wood-and-metal construction of the tool is absolutely necessary as one is using a good amount of force to roll the rubber spline into the screen frame channel. Also, the wheels didn't wobble as I was applying the necessary force which was a testament to their engineering.

These tools are well worth having for changing screen or vinyl

I was pleasantly surprised to learn these have ball bearing which in my limited technological experience means the wheel will not wobble and will perform better. Time will tell their durability but to date they have performed well and I am very pleased with the product.

I thought by having two spline tools in same kit , the wheels would be multiple sizes for different size spline , wrong , two of exact same size , one for each hand , I guess

Works exactly as it should, put new screens in Mororhome screen door, no problem. Would definately recommend
