I live in the Phoenix, AZ area where it easily gets 115 in the summer and let me tell you this camera endures the heat like a champ. Not only that but I bought two and accidentally left one on top of my car roof and my wife drove it without noticing the camera was on the car roof and eventually the camera fell off while driving and the camera survived and keeps working. That's the picture I posted of it broken due to a hard fall and but still going strong. For Uber I love it as the camera shoots front and back. I do recommend an SD card of 128 gig. Another way you can use it is for your youngsters that just got a license. The camera works great in case of an accident or to make sure the youngsters my daughter was giving a ride to behaved and she gave a lot of rides during her senior year. I can also verify if where she said she was going was truth. My daughter liked the camera because she reminded her friends to behave because her dad could see the footage later. There's more to this camera that others have said which makes it great for the price.The only big problem is that during summer the camera's rubber suction that holds it in place fails and it falls off the window when you least expect it. That gets weird and scares you a bit. Other than that I totally recommend it for the price.

I got hit by a car that was hit by a drunk driver. The dash cam caught it all. I downloaded the videos to my phone and airdropped them to the police officer at the scene. Everything was super clear! The police were very appreciative.Update: I was in a wreck in October. Again this dash cam saved the day. The guy said he had the green light. He t-boned me and I went head first into a light pole and I had my dashcam footage showing that I had the green light. I uploaded it to my insurance company and his insurance company called and said they were accepting full liability. It would have been my word against his. Even the police report said he told them he had the green light. Protect yourself! I may have still gotten my life derailed for a while by this guy, but it could have been way worse trying to prove that I was in the right. Also the inside camera was clear. It was hard to watch myself getting thrashed in the car but it helped understand why I hurt so much. Even after this two impact crash, the dashcam is still working great in my new car. I will keep a dashcam in my car from now on.June 2024 update: the dash cam is still working great. They should put me on their payroll for all the times I have shared the Amazon link to my friends and family and sometimes strangers who ask. 😂 The first ever kinda issue with the dash cam has been that the suction that attaches to the windshield crumbled. I live in texas. The heat here finally took its toll on the plastic in the suction cup. I looked on Amazon for a replacement for Kingslim and didn’t find one. I emailed the company and they responded within 30 minutes!! I was impressed. The process to get a new suction was going to take two-ish weeks and cost $6. If you’ve read this far, you know that I don’t drive without my dashcam. I’m leaving king how easy to set up it is. I Uber so love its front and shows the people in the back. Gave a 4 star cause it failed me on a big truck that pulled out. It had a delay. Which fails to show he ran a stop sign. Plus it don’t really show the cars behind me very well. If at all.

I have purchased five of these cameras, three for myself and two for my friends while the batteries of all of them broke very soon. Especially the last one I purchased, itt battery doesn’t charge charge from day one.

I got this a day after rear ending someone... yeah...first accident since I was about 19 I think which was a very long time ago. I was fortunately only going very slow. It was one of those where the driver in front of me started to go, then I went, I looked left to make sure no one was pulling out of any of the business and speeding up on us and when I looked back in the split second that it took... the other driver had stopped dead in the road. It wouldn't have made much of a difference in the long run because there is no good excuse for rearending anyone. BUT I decided then and there that I do want a camera because even though nothing came of this incident because there was no damage, they insisted on having the police come to do a police report and the story of what happened changed from him stopping short because of someone that pulled out in front of him to basically I just ran into the back of them.The cameras was super easy to install and I even hid the cord using the tool they provided to slip it behind the molding in the vehicle. I put it in a spot that is out of my way but still is able to get everything needed. It has more options than I even know how to use.I had one major complaint and that is that all of the information tells you to download the app from google play or the i store depending on your phone but it wasn't there. I searched, I hunted, I asked questions. It was on the store at one time because I've seen the screen shots of it but it it no longer there. Some people said they used a different app off the playstore but I did finally choose to download the one from their website directly. I didn't like doing it because I can't help but feel that there is a reason that it is no longer on the play store. But I did and it works great with the camera and so far there have been no bad repercussions from doing so.One thing I discovered was how much I talk to myself when driving alone and cuss out all the other drivers on the road. I knew I did... but not that much. You can turn off the microphone recording.The wide angle view gets the whole road ahead of you. The camera is very clear. I feel better knowing all my drives are being recorded just incase something happens.

I liked how simple it is to be used and it helped me capture my best moments and still running for more.

This dashcam was costs around $300+ plus there were offer going on so I got it with some discount. I got 2 years free extended warranty on this dashcam. Very useful and all features and functions working perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. Received the camera quickly and well packed.Installing it was okay.1. The app is not great, it does what it should if you require to download a video. But it doesn't look nice. Very basic.2. No option for picture in picture video export.This meant that for me to upload the video you see i needed to download the interior video the outside video and to edit it.3. No option for screen timout. Clock is the default screen when driving.All in all.... Very pleased. Viability at night is great for the price.
