Our 6 year old son loves it. So do we.
This is very well designed. The lessons are well structured and the logic of the programming is intuitive. Our almost six year old boy started doing it with an instructor and loved it. So we went out and bought him his own. He LOVES it. And we love seeing the pride he takes in making the projects and then programming them. We can see the progress he has made. That is largely because of how well thought out this is.This isn’t cheap but we think it was a great purchase.

Excellent for Education!
I bought 8 of these for a robotics class. We pair up with 4th and 5th graders and assemble a different unit every 1-2 weeks. These are expensive units, but they are durable and come in an organizing box that can be easily stacked for storage. My only issue was that the software needed to operate the robots has very specific requirements and we had to buy new devices to make them work, but I guess that’s part of it, right?

Excellent!
A great gift for 9 yo boy. Our 6 yo girl also loves to play with it along side her brother. Very cool, what you pay for is also the programming part, and the online applications that make this so much fun.

Perfect for your techy kids!
We noticed real quick our oldest (7) had an engineer brain. He loves tech and putting things together. This kit is absolutely amazing!!!! He can figure everything out and spends hours putting all the different things together. Wonderful stories that teach him the basics in physics. I can tell this will help him be a step ahead of other kids with coding and science.

Great educational toy, but expensive
The software and instructions are excellent. It installed easily on my son's Chromebook. It does not come with a lot of Legos, but the value is in the instructions. Any toy that is $400 is expensive.

This is the best innovation since Lego
It's target age group is 6+ but my 4 year old and myself build and program a new model every week. Now a few months into it, he is able to follow the script and build this own and be creativity too. Now whenever he sees regular lego, he asks when can we program it.

Great for at-home education!
I know these are intended for group classroom use, but having a 7yr old as a lab partner at home has been a ton of fun and he begs to jump right into the next one when we complete an exercise. It's very educational, the app teaches kids about various science items (earthquakes, gears, speed, etc) all while they get to learn how to assemble block-style coding events to run it. Has been a great at-home educational aid for home-schooling during COVID-19 stay at home orders.

Making robotics accessible to my special needs students
This product helps my students access the curriculum in our middle school's robotics and engineering program. They love it and I'm thrilled that they get to enjoy the program right next to their typical peers. A little pricey but worth it :)
