Sizing is off.
The jacket is well made. For a "large" way too snug. Not worn it as it offers no comfort.

More fashion statement than practical.
Update:Bumping up the rating from 3 to 4 stars. The garment's padding cells are bouncing back, and also Savile Row customer care reached out in response to my review, with an outstanding response.Top marks for how much they care about keeping customers happy, and ensuring their brand standards are maintained high.----------These types of garments need a standardised measurement of warmth, like duvets have tog rating. See image, the product description says "medium weight wadding" but I disagree, please read on.I wanted one of these for when I'm chopping wood outside, and wearing while working from home in my slightly chilly dining room. When I bought this I didn't really look at the brand. What caught my eye was the diamond pattern cells, which was different from the norm of characterless rectangular cells, and the price point. The brands own website says that the price of £35 is half price (which is the same as the amazon price at the moment). I can't see myself paying full price for this.It arrived in a clear plastic bag, with a saville row label on it. And an amazon address label. In transit it may have had other weighty parcels on top, so all the padded cells were flattened. The garment was the thickness of a tea towel. And we all know, to keep one warm, the cell padding needs miniature pockets for air to be trapped in which to hold body warmth. It's been 2 days since delivery, the garment cells have increased in size a little. But I would not agree with the brand's description of "medium weight". Still seems quite thin to me. I'm wondering if I should use my blower vac to inflate the cells.Fitting:I purchased a medium, my chest is currently 39 inches (trunk/tummy 35 inches). With a T-Shirt and hoody on, I have about an inch of space left. Some reviews are saying theirs comes up small, the brand's own website says this "tailored to fit close to the body", usually "tailored" means average slimmer mannequin dimensions, not necessarily a real average human. So beware.Pockets:My hands are 21cm span (fingers spread), and 20cm high from middle finger tip to wrist. The pockets just fit my hands, if you have bigger hands then you may have trouble.Arm holes:The arm hole diameter is around 19 to 20cm.Length:From the neckline to the base the garment is 66cm long, from the shoulder tip to the base it is 64cm. Under the arms at its widest point, it is 53cm wide. All measurements approximate.Quality:The outer and inner material seems of good quality. Stitching seems good. The zip is ok, has stuck a couple of times, but ok overall. Conclusion:If I'd seen this in a high street retail shop and tried it on, I doubt I'd have bought it. Unless of course my aim was so that I can say that I had a Saville row garment in my wardrobe.
