Ordered this for a customer @ an apartment complex that had a broken Globe Pool light fixture that was damaged during a recent storm and this Globe fixture was perfect as a replacement and worked as expected and made our customer very happy.

No complaints . Was easy to install and no issues !!

These lights are not all the same. Some are made in USA and are very good but some are made in China and are not so good. I ordered 20 of these lights, the first six were all made in USA. I installed and wired them while waiting for the rest to arrive. When the next ones arrived, I noticed the boxes were brown cardboard instead of white which the previous ones were. All the descriptions and mfg. numbers were the same. I tried to install the first one and the screws that lock them onto the post are too short. I wrapped some electrical tape around the post to make it tighter and tried again. It fit better but the clip nuts that the mounting screws thread into are so inferior that they never get tight, they just spin and strip. Then I noticed that the globe on the China made light doesn't match either, very noticeable with several lights in a row. The only concern I have with the made in USA lights is the base being all plastic but time will tell, overall I'm pleased with them. The made in China version are unusable in my opinion. I am in the process of trying to get them replaced. 4 stars for the made in USA. 1 star for the made in China.

The Sunlite Decorative Outdoor globe and fixture improved the appearance of my front yard.

I have 3 of these post lights on my property. The posts were beginning to rust so I decided to replace them all. I ordered one of the "new model" version. I still don't know what the difference is between the new and old models. Could never get an answer.When the item arrived, there was something rolling around in the box, never a good sign. Well let me try to explain what that sound was. There are 3 metal clips which are used to attach the fixture to the top of the post. The clips have 2 tabs which are curved to fold over the rim of the fixture. If you look at the picture in the listing you can see one of these clips with a philips screw going through it. Well the rattling was one of these clips and 2 of the screws. The loose clip was missing the tabs which hold it on. I would never be able to attach it securely to the post with only 2 of the 3 clips. Most likely a manufacturing error. Packed it up and sent it back.BUT THERE'S MOREThe item description states "made from durable, non-corrosive, and UV resistant material". That statement is correct, but missing a key element. The word "PLASTIC". The entire fixture was made of plastic. Had I known that, I would never have purchased it. I got lucky as it was defective and I simply returned it.THE BOTTOM LINEMy fixtures are over 20 years old. This fixture "may" last as long, but I don't know. In the end I decided to simply replace the rusted posts and rebuild the existing fixtures. Three new porcelain sockets, some wire and some black epoxy spray paint was all that was needed.WHY 2 STARSWell the item was defective right out of the box. Add to that the somewhat "incomplete" description and it gets 2 stars.
