Trichloroacetic Acid Solution TCA 25% Chemical Skin Peel (2 Ounce)

This is the second time I've ordered this TCA peel and I think they are great, if you know what your doing. This time my skin looks better than it has in years. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save a little money by doing it at home, instead of paying someone to do it for you in a clinic. I think you should research it first and watch videos on the proper way to do it, because it probably could be dangerous. It took me about five days to recover and peel and I'm very pleased with the results.

I would have to say this is a good product. I started my peel on a Monday in by Wednesday the process of removing the died skin had started. You have to read the direction follow each step.I had purchase this product base on becoming a mature woman noticing that my skin texture was changing because getting older. My ability to apply makeup on my face in look like i was ten years older has change. By me being a Makeup Artist customers are looking at your skin.So i need to take this step to achieving amazing skin with the TCA Peel. My skin looks and feel amazing it only had taken a week for my skin return to that amazing glow.

Can I give zero stars? Technically the liquid product is just fine and as described. However, the packaging is a huge problem. I used it once. Replaced the cap, for safety immediately after dispensing what I would use, and the cap just falls apart in my hand. Having worked in a lab for a long time I know this is due to poor quality plastic not of acceptable grade for this level of acid. So, I had to discard of almost the entire bottle because I don’t have chemical friendly glassware lying around the house. Not cool. So much wasted. I’m surprised it made it through shipping intact.

Coming from a male perspective, I liked this. I must admit it burned like crazy. It wasn't too complicated to use. I am NOTan expert, but I want to explain what I did so that you will know the process, but everyone is different. TCA peel is dangerous if you do not do it correctly, so make sure you are fully informed by an expert on the process before doing TCA procedure!Total Time: 10 minutes: 5 min prep & 5 min for applicationSupplies: fan brush, TCA, baking soda, water, and bowl1. Mix cool water and baking soda in a bowl, 2 tablespoons of baking soda (make sure your baking soda is fresh - if it bubbles or foams when mixed with vinegar, then it's good) with 1 1/2 cups of water. Set to the side.2. Make sure face is clean.3. Pour a small amount of TCA in a small bowl.4. Set timer for 5 minutes (you don't want to go over this time, this is just to notify you if you get to 5 minutes)5. Use fan brush to apply TCA to face.6. When to neutralize: When I started to frost I rinsed my face, it took me the whole 5 minutes, BUT everyone is different. I know 5 minutes was my time AND I was in a lot of pain when I finally rinsed my face.7. DoneLast tip: I was worried that the frost was permenant, of course it wasn't. I was red the first 2 days, 3rd started to peel. 4th day I peeled part of it out of habit, it left a 1 inch scar on my face. SO make sure you don't peel it! But overall I like the results, my face is much clearer and has less freckles.

It does the trickI also purchased the Post Peel Neutralizer that was recommended. Chemical Skin Peel Neutralizer - Post Peel pH Balancer Proceed with caution and follow the instructions.It does what is says.Give it some time and plan ahead. If you don't want to peel for a special occasion, give it a week or two.I applied this thin layer to the skin on my face and neck, it started to tingle and it caused a slight burning sensation. I kept it on as long as instructed.I then proceeded with the post peel process and used the Post Peel Neutralizer, also as instructed. My skin felt a little dried, also as expected and continued with after care.I personally did not peel for a few days, some spots, a week. You may have different results. It started peeling like a sunburn. I let nature take it's coarse and was very happy with the results in the end.And on a side note.I once went to a professional salon and had this done. I found the results of this were similar, maybe slightly less than than the results of this, which is what I was expecting. Also saved me a ton of money doing it at home. Will continue to use this product as needed.

I really like this product. I would never leave it on my face as long as instructed because I feel it start stinging after a minute. But it is very effective and and have noticed a big difference in my skin since I began using it.

Wish I would of ordered a stronger solution but good results for 25% all in all.
