Absolutely fabulous Neil Diamond. A wonderful different take on his songs. Would recommend to everyone. What a wonderful voice

A truly excellent CD with a total of 14 tracks, and beautifully sung by Neil Diamond. The background orchestra is also excellent and really adds a different dimension. Track 10, Play Me, is just so brilliantly sung and it is heartwarming. Nothing to criticise at all. Five stars.

I love everything Neil Diamond and this collection of his songs is wonderful.They are slightly different as he sings with an orchestra, but still the same gorgeous voice.

On first listen we all through this was awful. After another listen it is good, different from Neil Diamond that we know and love him.

Blend of voice and orchestra is lovely. A different Neil Diamond experience.

Absolutely perfect

As a fan of Mr Diamond since the 70s, he has provided one of the most influential, and wonderful, soundtracks to my life and remains a favourite. With this recording he appears to have defeated time, as his voice sounds just as good as ever, amazing when you consider just how long ago he first recorded some of these gems. Great to hear these tracks rearranged, I even really like Song Sung Blue now, it was never a personal favourite before. I love all these rearranged tracks, they are not necessarily better than the originals (especially 'Play Me' which has always touched perfection for me) but they are different and rewarding. Great stuff, more please Neil. And please do 'Lady Oh' on the next one!

Being a Neil Diamond fan almost my whole live this album is a real gem. Never heard before: I've been this way before, now one of my favourits, but have so many favourit songs of Neil Diamond (of course 'I am...I said', but also of his album 12 Songs 'Evermore' and 'Hell Yeah'). What a great artist!

Never knew why my mother liked Neil Diamond so much. Not until the day I saw an old Australian Neil Diamond concert with a very young and very sexy Neil Diamond singing his greatest hits!!! Now I got to know more about him, his songs and I love these songs!!! I really listened to the lyrics now.

There is nothing not to love for this long time ND fan. Lovely having a different take on well known songs playing with the Symphony. While I am sad that he no longer tours so no more concerts to look forward to but glad that he hasn't stopped all his creative music
