Mail Tattle-Tail Mail Alert Flag

I love having this. Everyday I come home from work I see this flag sticking up letting me know there is mail in the box. No guessing!! Very durable material...this will outlast the life of the mailbox. By the way I have this installed on one of the largest mailboxes you can purchase from a big box store. Works great. Depending on what side you approach from the tip is more visible than the other but it works fine either way. The price may seem high but it is a small business that is making these and they are really heavy duty. If I had to knock one thing it would be the amount of additional hardware you receive. They should include various size Nylon spacers and several of them so you can dial it in. BUT, still a five star item for me. I would purchase again!!

After three holes I got it right! My mailbox turned into one that looks like someone practiced shots at it LOL..That being said, I wonder why the company doesn’t make a holder that stops the flag from going forward or backward like the normal flags on the (Arlington) mailbox (same company)It is a bit pricy, but well made...so I would recommend it. I still have to find a piece that stops the flag in either direction because eventually it will loosen and flip/flop until it is re tightened.

I had to modify the flag. The yellow just didn’t show up that well. I put orange reflective tape on it. Now I can see it from the house. Easy installation. I caught my mail carrier trying to put it down. I wrote a note explaining what it was and that they didn’t need to put it down. I love this thing! No more wasted trips to the mailbox.

Works great with heavy duty mail box but would not work on my old plastic box

This does just what it's suppose to do. It stops extra trips to the mailbox just to check if you have any mail. This way you know for sure. It doesn't stop junk mail but otherwise it's perfect.

I searched for anything to let me know when the mail had run. Walking to the mailbox unnecessarily maybe 2 or 3 times a day when expecting something important was getting old. This big yellow flag is not pretty at all but it absolutely works great. It takes a few minutes to attach it but my husband had no problem at all. It can be seen from our Ring doorbell.
