I have increased the amount of sewing projects I work on, so I wanted to have multiple colors of thread on hand. The price for 25 spools was perfect, so I ordered. I wasn't purchasing for my serger, but just my regular sewing machine, and wasn't expecting these to be tall cones, so the height of the spools was not a shock to me as other reviewers have stated. Opening the packaging and taking in the beautiful colors was the highlight of my day. The box they come in is perfect to store the spools, heavy duty and closes well. I've used the thread for about 6 projects so far and I'm satisfied with the results. Compared to the store brand smaller spools I've used, this thread is thicker (i definitely have to use a wire thread guide for even the larger eyed needles), and it's not as smooth. There is definitely lint, or fuzzy on the thread. It's noticeable as you're threading your machine, but I haven't noticed a difference in the finished product and that includes straight and fancy top stitching. It will take me a while to run out of thread, but I'll definitely be a repeat customer.UPDATE----I have been using this thread for nearly 2 months. I have found the thread to be of lower quality than first reported. There are places, in each color of used, where the thread has not wound tightly and has created large knots or nests that will not go through a needle or the bottom bobbin. It's very difficult to work with. I will be looking for a different source for my everyday thread.

I like that it provides information for you to contact in case you need anything. Pretty colors and it has the color in the spool. Comes in 2 boxes so it was pack really well.

25 beautiful spools of 3-ply polyester thread. Vibrant colors, strong, compact, but loaded with 1100 yards of thread. Not large like serger spools. Fits on my machine perfectly.

Nice quality thread, or at least look, haven't sewn with it yet but I'm confident it will be fine, picture does make it seem like there larger, like what you would see in a tailors window or something. They are smaller but still have a lot of thread and will last you awhile. I didn't expect them to be large though because I read previous reviews so, I wasn't surprised or upset. They are what I expected and I am happy.

DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE NOT ON A REGULAR SPOOL HAD TO MODIFY MY MACHINE FOR THE LARGER SPOOL NO BIG DEAL

They have a nice assortment of colors, but when we received the box several colors were mixed up. For example, we were sent 3 brown and 1 maroon instead of 2 and 2. We also had a lot of trouble making nice tight seems on our Serger.

Colors are beautiful but spools are much smaller than I expected. I bought these for a new serger and thought they were the large spools you use on them, but they aren't, they are less than half that size. Haven't tried sewing with them yet so don't know how that will be,
