they did the thing!! fairly easy for my first time growing mushrooms, and there's definitely some strong genetics here. just as a suggestion tho, i would add to the instructions that these guys wont start fruiting until they get down to 55-65 degrees! i had shoeboxes of colonized cocofiber sitting around for a couple months before i did the research to find that out. otherwise fantastic product!!!

I’ve got a lot of plants. So naturally while they are inside the CO2 levels are too low for the plants to grow with optimum vigor. So I started growing mushroom mycelium. CO2 levels are better and I’ll have some fruiting bodies to cook into a stew.That’s a win win in my book. Well, absent of the expensive equipment needed to peruse mycology. However, it’s worth it because mycology is rather fascinating. So slap my a*s and call me a biologist.Couldn’t get a spot cold enough to induce primordia formation inside. So I stuck them outside. This most recent cold snap made the cakes fruit

So far so good. Seems pretty aggresive, had very nice growth after 2 days of sitting. I was worried the cold might have a big influence, as it sat outside for awhile before I could get to it, and its winter, but it doesn't seem so! Will update later.

Got sent an extra culture for Branched Oyster for free when I wasn't expecting it, which was pretty cool.I will update with the grow!
