Depends on the definition of weight loss/management. The main ingredient in chicory is INULIN which is healthy substance with relative low caloric impact. It is a soluble fiber and as such it helps with the intestinal absorption metabolic control of cholesterol & sugars so indirectly it helps with caloric intake control but not enough to be considered a weight loss agent just one piece in complex wheel of weight management in which the basic tenet (principle) is do not intake more calories than the ones you spent.

Love it!

This is fast becoming my favorite drink. I was looking for a coffee alternative I can drink anytime and this is perfect. The powder is very fine ground and dissolves fast, the consistency is rich and satisfying. The flavor is more nutty tasting than coffee. There is no bitterness like coffee can have, and no stomach irritation. Sometimes I add a few crystals of instant coffee if I want a little caffeine boost and that is good too. This is a great way to lower the caffeine intake.

Delicious alternative to coffee and it’s healthy!

Nearly authentic replacement for coffee

Great Flavor and Coffee Alternative, but a Bit Messy

The taste of this chicory root is really nice—almost sweet—and it makes a great alternative for lowering caffeine consumption. My only complaint is that it can be a little messy and somewhat difficult to mix with espresso. That said, it tastes great once blended in, and I’ll definitely keep using it.

Great coffee alternative

How did I never know this existed before? I saw this through my Fit On app and decided to try it. I don’t know that it can replace coffee, but it is delicious. I definitely do have it in place of coffee at times. I do wish it was cheaper, but I would buy it again because I really enjoy the taste and it offers me an additional warm beverage option.
