Excellent papercrafting tool!!
Oh how I love this blade! I have had so many issues with box cutter type knives, even ones made specifically for crafters, that I was curious as to whether this Slice Precision cutter could be an improvement. It definitely is! THe blade is ceramic, and pretty tiny, but MAN does it cut smoothly and accurately. I am a papercrafter and do most of my work on a Silhouette Cameo, but sometimes I need to cut stuff out by hand. This little thing is 1000 times better than the much wider metal blades, and you really do have better control. I can finally do some fussy cutting that doesn't look like a 5 year old used safety sissors!

Shining star in the crafters tool box or any tool box.
Very handy little tool to have. I only own 1 but need about 10 more! Now, I don't have to keep reaching for the xacto blade and worry about accidents or that I forgot to put the cap on it and the cat could find it. Horrible thought. I use it to trim diamond painting canvas but find myself reaching for it to cut plenty of stuff. The *blade* is finger friendly yet mighty. Wish I'd had this when my kids were in school doing all their special projects. Great for cutting wrapping paper & packing tape. Bring on Christmas. I'm ready! Come to think of it.... 🤔 These could make a nice Christmas gift ...🏃🏼♀️...Where's my list

Amazing at cutting paper but bulky tip means it can be hard to see precise cuts
This is a great (and safe) little paper cutter. It is really sharp on paper and cuts with a lot of ease, but it won't cut skin (I tried), so it would be perfect for giving to kids for crafts also. The blade is very tiny, so some thicker papers you may need to run a few times just to get a really clean cut, but the cuts it does make are smooth. The main thing I haven't gotten used to yet is after years of working with X-acto knives, being able to see the tip of the blade and see exactly where I'm cutting is a lot harder since the blade is so small and short and a bit "embedded" into the orange tip. Also because of this, when using a metal ruler or other implement you do have to adjust a bit where the ruler sits because you'll be running it against the side of the plastic rather than the blade itself, so some precision cuts along a ruler may not necessarily land where you want them to, but the tiny and super sharp blade are great for free hand cuts.

Accommodation!
I work directly with those in the community that have developmental disabilities to help them gain employment and independence.A regular box cutter posed a bit of a safety concern with one of my clients as the first time they gave him one to open a box at work he cut himself. I was looking for something that he could use independently where he didn't have to wait for a co-worker to open a box for him. I FOUND IT! This works great for opening boxes is easy to use and lightweight. It is safe as the "blade" is ceramic. Such a great purchase!

Fantastic!
I already have the little slicy pen, but I needed replacement blades after a lot of use, and a slip-up on my end that involved me dulling the original on a metal ruler. They are super easy to swap out, and the pack of 4 will last a really long time!

best paper cutting tool
I heard about this on a youtube video and since I am new to paper crafting, I wanted something to cut but not an exacto knife. This is a great tool and in my opinion safer than metal blade tools. Cuts a sharp line cleanly but note that it will cut through to what is underneath, so a cutting mat or thicker piece of cardboard is a good idea so you don't leave marks on a table or desk top.

Little bit it works
The blade was way smaller than on the picture but it does work. The whole thing is as small as a pen.

Not returning, but wouldn't recommend
Cut thin/crisp paper such as notebook paper well... but that's it. Even with significant pressure it left uncut pieces in thin cardstock and pulls/rips. I thought maybe it would work well to trim and weed designs on transfer paper but the transfer part of the paper has some stretch so it just pulled and ripped at it. Good ol' xacto knife worked circles around this thing.... and cut them better, too. This thing doesn't do well with curves, especially tight ones. The bulky tip also makes it hard to turn the "pen" to continue on a curved line. It did a semi ok job on a loose curve, like the one in the promotional picture.... but, when I tried it it cut some of it perfectly and pulled at the other parts.... like I said, stick with a sharp metal blade knife. Also, these tips are not replaceable (which I knew when purchasing) but I believe there is an upgraded version that allows you to replace the tips. Kinda glad I didn't spead the extra bucks on it though.... this will go in the kids crafting supplies. They often use printer paper and construction paper .... I will say that this is much safer than an actual knife, so theres a big plus if children are doing the crafting. It is "finger friendly" but I would still use close supervision. Conclusion: good for thin paper and kids to use on simple paper craftsNot so great for thicker materials (cardstock or thicker) and not great for intricate/delicate designs.

Love it
Use this for scraperboard art. It is sometimes a little tricky to place precisely as the blade it really small but the great thing is it looks like a pen and so I use it when working outside.
