Best tasting sardines
I love sardines , they are good with crackers as a snack, on salad as lunch, with steamed rice as diinner. I keep a variety of sardines in my cupboard year round. Ortiz is a recent discovery, a wonderful discovery. It is firm, delicious and soaked in a tasty sauce . Warning: expensive, so save for special occasions.

Good sardines but not as great as many people make out Reserving final judgement for a few more cans
Good quality, but I still take issue with how some supposedly premium French, Spanish and Portuguese processors clean their fish. Most just chop off the head and scoop out the innards. I think that adding a belly slit allows for a much cleaner and cleaner tasting product. Do better Europe.Otherwise good firm meaty fleshed small fish. Olive oil good but nothing special.Find myself wanting to like these more than I actually do.

Low-mercury pregnancy snack
Since I can't have tuna, this has been my default high-protein snack during pregnancy. If they don't sound appealing, I understand but give them a chance. They're surprisingly mild in taste and versatile addition to snack plates when you need 20 g of protein+ fast. Omegas are good for you and your baby.

Simply Delicious!
Received these the next day. I eat a tin of sardines 4-5 days per week for the health benefits (Omega 3 & 6 plus protein). I have tried many brands over the years as well as several brands of skinless and boneless. Last week, I tried Santo Amaro and Ortiz. Ortiz wins!!! These sardines are fantastic. They are not salty at all AND taste great. Highly recommend.
