AnySharp – CHEF – Easy to Use, Hands Free Knife Sharpener - Brass

I have many knife sharpeners, but this is the BEST knife sharpener I have in my collection! I also purchased the regular Any Sharp knife sharpeners that also work extremely well. They are great, extremely easy to use and create a very sharp edge to every knife I’ve used to sharpen knives.

I saw this and thought, "That will be awesome!" To be honest, when I received it, I was a bit disappointed. I thought it would be bigger. I put it in the "catch-all" drawer in the kitchen without even trying it out. A couple of months later, I was slicing up some veggies and meat with my chef knife. I noticed the knife was not cutting as smoothly as I was used to. I have another knife sharpener when I am going to go through and sharpen all of our knives. I didn't feel like grabbing it just for a quick sharpening. I opened the "catch-all" drawer looking for one of my sharpening steels. I saw it in the drawer and thought I would just give it a try, not expecting too much from it. I'm actually embarrassed it took me so long to try it. Five passes with my chef knife, and it was cutting as well as when I use my other sharpener. So, I pulled out my pocket knife which needed a sharpening as well. I passed it through a couple of times then went to check its sharpness on whether it would shave some of the hair on my forearm. Well, it wasn't completely razor sharp but it definitely cut hair. I showed my wife how to use it and she absolutely loved the simplicity of it. All of our kitchen knives are sharp now, as well as a few pocket knives. I have not touched my "good" knife sharpener in literally months. I would recommend and I will but again!

Very nice sharpener

It works quite well but took a little getting used to. You have to use a light touch. Otherwise, it has literally taken steel shards off my knives. It does keep them very sharp!

A good product, if only it really worked on smooth surfaces in the manner it claims. The truth is that it only works on a very few smooth surfaces. I'm disappointed.

I thought the knife was suppose to be placed at an angle -don’t do that!! Knife is sharpened nicely. Great sharpener, great price!

Works good not great

I was so excited to find this amazing knife sharpener on Amazon. I bought my first one on GMA years ago and proved very durable. I preferred the metal over the plastic, both worked fine, just my preference. Finally it wore out, it wasn't sharpening my knifes anymore. In the description it says it last 2 years, well mine worked for over 4 years. This was the ONE sharpener that I could use and it worked!! I had tried so many, and some were expensive. Forget the way you must hold one of those sharpening "sticks" and the angle it has to be held....ARGH! I keep AnySharp next to my knife block. It's small, out of the way, until I need a knife sharpened. So easy to use and safe to achieve a really sharp blade. My video shows a very dull knife.

Są przeciwnicy tego rodzaju ostrzałek - niby niszczą noże z czasem. Kluczowe z jakim czasem - za parę lat można kupić nowy nóż. Ja ostrzę nawet moje noże WUSTHOF - one są bardzo twarde i nawet za 10 lat będzie można ich używać. Odpowiedz kiedy dowiadujesz się że potrzebujesz naostrzyć nóż - jak go potrzebujesz użyć !!! I w 2-3 sekundy masz ostry ! A nie ostrzenie osełkami 10 minut...

This sharpener works so much better than the $200.00 Chefs Choice that I bought and don't use!

Had been looking for a new knife sharpener for a while and found this one. Gave it a try and it actually worked much better than I anticipated. Just a couple of seconds and your knifes arr super sharp!
