My boyfriend loves this stuff! He had me order it for him for the third time. I love the smell of it!!!! I always know when he does his hair because he smells SOOO good! LOL. His hair is not sticky either and he is able to style his hair well and it stays all day.

This product holds very well while still giving my hair bounce and flexibility. It also lives up to the advertisement of matte finish as it looks naturally styled rather than looking crunchy and wet. The only downside to this product is that it smells very very strong and stays on your hands after styling your hair. I have started running my hands under obnoxiously hot water to get the residue to leave my hands, but other than that it is great.

My son loves this product. The smell is awesome. The hold is good. It does not have a shine. However, it does not hold like a wax, so if you want a wax, this is somewhere in between a gel and a pudding.

My son got some of this originally from his barber shop, and he really likes it. We were looking to get more from an easy source, and were glad Amazon had this. He has thin/fine hair that needs some "teasing" to give it body. This works very well and doesn't weigh down his hair. It's easy to use and not greasy. It's a bit pricey but I think worth it for a lightweight product for his hair type.

Great product. Very matte finish but doesn't make my hair feel crispy and dry. Scent is good but strong. Smells like tanning lotion, reminds me of the beach. It is strong hold, but if you have a lot of thick hair like me, you may need stronger if you are going for a style that needs it. Washes out very nicely though!

I've been in the market for a new hair product for quite a while. I've tried most of the top rated matte pastes but nothing felt perfect. My barber recommended I try STMNT matte paste, but gave me a tip to use STMNT fiber pomade on my wet hair before drying.So my routine is when I get out the shower I use a very small amount of the pomade and spread it into my wet hair. I blow dry until it is mostly dry with a tiny bit in dampness. I then use STMNT matte paste to roughly style my hair. I finish by blow drying until completely dry using a comb/brush/fingers to set my hair into its final place.Other matte pastes I've tried are either too hard with strong hold, or too soft with weak hold. The harder ones typically "gripped" my hair too hard and made styling difficult. This one seems to have my ideal balance of being malleable and easy to work with while maintaining a hold that lasts me all day.

Smells so damn good. I love that it’s not such a gooey gel, it’s a matte paste which makes it as if nothing is in your hair. The hold lasts long too. Light weight and the greasiness is a 3/10

Paste has a pleasant scent and provides a strong hold with good volume. However, it feels more like a wax than a paste and tends to make hair a bit sticky, causing some strands to clump together. It's effective for styling both dry and damp hair, but the texture and tendency to glue strands together might not suit everyone.
