Works Very Well For Auto Fluids
I read the negative reviews but decided to try this thing anyway. I will say the negatives were correct about it dripping fluids out once you get it loaded. That happens for sure. But thanks to those reviews and was prepared. The reason it drips out is there is no check valve in it to stop the leak back. All I did was use a small tin tuna fish can to catch the dripping. I used it to remove automatic transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, crankcase oil, and the super-heavy oil in my differentials. The differential oil is very thick. I had to pull hard on the plunger and I worried that it may not be able to take the stress. But it held up very well. Since I have an AWD vehicle I had two diffs to change oil in. It also sucks up gasoline too. I like the two tubes that come with it with the little connector. At any good hardware store you can find similar hoses that will fit on it well. I needed to use a 3 foot long tube and it sucked up just fine on the long tube. The connect/disconnect feature holds up well and is easy to use. Because of this device I was able to save about $200 in mechanic bills. You can get those orange siphon pumps, which I did, and they are junk compared to this one. Thanks to those who complained about it dripping because I was ready for that and if you know that will happen you can catch drips in a tin can, a rag, or blue shop paper towel. I am very glad I bought this and will buy a second to have as a backup.

works well
this is exactly what you need if your small engine does not have a drain plug for the oil. simple to use and works exceptionally well. better than flipping your mower or pressure washer over to drain it, like I use to do. glad I found this little doodad. if you can use a meat injector than you will have it made. it's just like that only easier.

GOOD SUCTION BUT NOT GOOD HOLDING IT
I bought it to suck extra fluids out from coolant reservoir or brake reservoir. It works well sucking it out, but when pulling the tube out of the reservoir and transfer it to the waste bucket, it drips out right away and makes a mess. So, now I have to immediately point the tip of the tube upwards to prevent dripping. It is not good at holding suction.

works well, easy to use
Just what I needed. Perfect size - much bigger and it would hard to get into small spaces, smaller would not hold enough!Works smoothly. draws and discharges well. Comes with a large tube, and a smaller tube perfect for bleeding brakes Only issue is that the small tube mist first be attached to the larger tube to work. makes every thing too long. I might sacrifice an inch of the bug tube to stay with the small one. Has graduation markings on the side, but they are kink of hard to readYes, it does drip after it's filled ( a little thing called GRAVITY!) But hay - they even give you a handy little cap just for that.

Great!
Worked as advertised! I'm a 67 yo female who was tired of paying $90+ to have oil changed in my rv on-board generator. It only holds .6 liters of oil and this hose w/extension worked perfectly! Literally took me minutes to change oil.

Piece of junk
Wouldn't fit properly in my oil tank and the rubber extender piece came off in my tank and now it's stuck in there. Would not recommend.

Works great
Excellent for the money

This thing sucks
The extended vacuum capacity is perfect for dialing in differential pressure switches for filter alarms. I intend the get another one in the spring for changing oil in all of my small engines.
