Used this watch whilst working as a Detention officer, very resilient and cheap watch.

After recent cataract surgery, I now have to wear glasses for close up work and reading, meaning looking at my watch is a bit of a challenge if I haven't got them on or with me. The big display is easily read, and the back light illumination works well in the dark. I haven't had any issues with the strap being too long, but then again I might have bigger wrists than others. I collect watches and usually buy automatic analogue ones, so for me to buy a digital is a bit of a change, but I'm really pleased with it so far, and will be using it when I go camping as well. It's longevity and robustness is hard to determine at the moment, only time will tell (see what I did there?)I definitely recommend this watch if you want one with larger digits, and an easy to read display with alarm, stop watch and hourly chime functions - which can easily be turned off.Update 17/08/23I've been wearing it everyday since I got it, and I really like it. As I said above I normally wear an analogue automatic or my Apple watch, and although this isn't a smart watch - it does look smart (sorry)It's chunky, and I like that about it, but others might not if they are slimmer than me.It keeps good time, and a few people have commented on it saying it looks more expensive than it is, which is nice.Still very happy with it.

For a budget watch it's lightweight, clear display and all the functions work. And it's still working fine Happy with this. Better value than big priced watches.

This is the best watch I have ever had I have a big wrist & I was always buying my Digital watches from Argos or local Shops .I never could find a watch that had a big enough Strap on it .The watches were of poor quality they didn't last.This watch has all that I require .It has a clear large dial face,It has a good feel & good look .It is what I have really always been looking for .I recommend this watch to anyone that is looking for a simple watch face with no silly face on it just basic & gives you the time date & month .What else can you ask for .RegardsMr E Hassan

for the money it does the job, but after a year all markings are erased from the casing and the night light no longer works ,i like the robust strap ,most break on me within a few months, but a draw back is its size means you often press the stopwatch switch with your wrist, overall worth the money but if you want a watch to remain presentable for longer get a G shock

This is a great watch for the price but my husband found it a bit too bulky, I'd say it was more for to younger generation than the middle aged. However he improvised and has secured it on the dash board of his van as the existing clock there didn't work properly and it fits in a treat. So happy days.

I remember a number of years ago paying over £300 for an orienteering watch rather like this one. This has much less features but it’s waterproof, dial is very easy to read and the controls are very good apart from the fact I accidentally set off the bleeper and found it very very difficult to cancel, just randomly pressing buttons until it worked. So be careful at that.

I bought this watch so I wouldn't have to wear my good one when I'm doing d.i.y. jobs.It was inexpensive but guess what? It does the job.I am a big man but the strap fits easily. The watch looks quite bulky but robust enough. I haven't tried putting in the sink, so I don't know how water resistant it is.I see that some reviewers have had difficulty setting it up. I had no trouble at all, without using the instructions.The face is easy to read and overall, it's good value for money.Let's face it, it's a very cheap watch, so don't expect it to be up to Rolex quality, but it's okay for what it is.
