My heating engineer, who was carrying out an annual service on my boiler stated that my carbon monoxide detector was out of date.I asked him if he could recommend a better model with a longer life that was not too expensive, he recommended this unit.When I received it I found it to be of excellent quality and was easy to install. The item was well packaged and I received it in good time. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and it's unit.Fit for purpose

Bought based on reviews and it hasn't disappointed. Working perfectly, solidly made and it even has a little clip that you can insert back in to "disable" it whilst travelling, so you can take it with you when staying away from home - great idea if you're worried about safety levels in holiday lets.

This device is so simple to install and to use that there is very little else to say about it other than it appears to do what it says on the can. It just sits there 'waiting' I can honestly say I have never had this type of leak, but if I had of done I probably wouldn't be say here writing this, so it is important to have one of these especially if you have a gas check done as they will expect to see a in-date one installed in the property.

Only slightly more expensive than ones with replaceable batteries. Well worth it to not have to bother for a whole ten years. My previous alarm needed 3 new Duracel AAs every 18 months. The money I will save in batteries will easily cover the slight increase cost. Seems well made.

Yes I'm very happy with purchase .I had another make but it kept bleeping for no reason .so purchased this one .and it does the job perfect and I now have peace of mind .thanks

The alarm arrived within the time expected. The instructions were clear and concise. It only took a few minutes to locate and fix the mounting bracket to the wall. The bracket allows the unit to be detached and taken to another location where it may be needed. I can't comment on battery life yet as it is designed to last for 10 years

Ignore the claims about 'Tamper Resistant Fast Fit Bracket'. The fixing pin is useless (I had to drill my wall and use screws instead) and the bracket is cheap plastic. I'm sure my pre-school grandchildren could easily pull it off the wall - if they could reach it! There's also an absurd line in the fitting instructions telling you to throw them away - presumably so that no-one could crack the secrets of the 'tamper resistant' fitting.That said, the alarm, in general, functions as described.However testing for its ability to detect carbon monoxide is, for the normal user, just about impossible: on this, I have to trust the 'Which' report (and others). On this, the most critical test, I have my fingers crossed.

Haven't put it up but have it freestanding at the moment, small so it wont look out of place, hopefully it will last especially the battery as the smoke alarm ones only last up to two years.
