Practical strategies and toolbox for your virtual meeting needs and beyond
I am an experienced facilitator and worked with many different kind of groups, but current virtual mode of working has been a challenge for running good, productive meetings that leave people not exhausted and tired. The positive from the current situation I see is that it will push us to develop better ways of running meetings, workshops online. This book is an excellent and timely contribution in that direction. Instead of just assuming that online and virtual meetings are that with limited possibilities to connect and work together more effectively. The book is full of practical, step by step suggestions in different areas that can help leaders or team members in any field to improve their virtual interactions, relationships with colleagues and team members, as well as run more fun, more fulfilling, and more effective meetings. It is a must-have resource for people who work remotely. The tools and instruments suggested are developed based on thought-through and tested understanding about group dynamics, facilitation, team building and leadership. The book is easy to navigate with clearly described categories and well-organized content. Must have for anyone looking for a catalog of ideas!

This is definitly a time saver and a gem of engaging activities.
I recently bought the book 75+ Team building activities for remote teams. I got to say, from the start, I realized that this book is an incredible time-saver. I have spent some time trying to figure out how to engage my team, and I don’t’ have the time to look for activities to engage my team virtually. This author has done a great job compiling and synthesizing activities that are easy and engaging. In my line of business, as an executive coach, I found this book incredibly useful for my clients as well. I have purchased multiple copies for them. I know they will appreciate the content. The beauty of this book, I don’t have to read it all at once, but rather I can use it as a resource when I need it. The way the book is organized makes it easy for me to find what I need when I need it. I particularly like the team reflections activities; those are the ones that create trust, keeps engagement, and increase vulnerability.

Game Changer for Remote Workers and Management
Great book, powerful, practical, and timelyCOVID- 19 has accelerated our transition to virtual meetings a hundred fold. Perhaps more.So many companies, big and small, now realize they could and probably should have been doing this all along. The problem is that working remotely is fraught with issues most of us don’t recognize and when we do, we don’t have solutions. It’s really all new to us.This book is packed with practical ideas that I personally will employ starting today. No stone is left unturned and I am certain implementation of these ideas will make a huge difference as we come to grips with this evolving reality.Work from home is here to stay and this is the first book I have found that shows me how. You’ll be glad you bought it. It’s a game changer

They can’t all be winners
Most of these were either commonplace or annoying, but I got enough good ideas out of it that I’d still recommend it. Just don’t expect them all to be winners.

Useful and timely
As someone who spends most of my days (these days from my dining room) on phone and video calls with teams located around the globe, I am constantly searching for ways to better support and engage employees. This book is a fantastic, user-friendly resource. It is loaded with creative ideas and helpful tips for managers seeking to motivate and nurture remote teams. Beyond that, there is general guidance on managing others that I found insightful and am looking forward to implementing.

Practical, Usable, Extendable
The team building activities in this collection are focused on building vital connections when working with remote/virtual teams. One of the things I particularly like about this collection is the way the author shares ideas for variations within each activity, keeping it fresh and relevant, whether it's a distributed team at the office or in a volunteer group. The author has also included timely activities relating to the current pandemic which are framed broadly enough that they can be adapted for use later. The check-in activities are great for one-on-ones, virtually or in person! With the variety in focus, activities, and durations I can easily pick one and use it to engage with team members at my next team meeting.

Great guide for quick activities or long-term team-building strategies
I'm in the middle of helping to plan a summer camp that's suddenly gone virtual this year. Which includes our staff's planning meetings. This book is a great quick reference guide to for team-building exercises and icebreakers. It's been a big help with fresh ideas for virtual meetings. It's also helped me figure out how to adapt some of my own exercises to a virtual format. The book is well-organized, so that you can find whatever kind of activity you need and use it immediately. A great book for adapting team-building strategies to these online, COVID times, and for use when we're all back in the same room again. Highly recommend!

The perfect resource for managers and teams during the pandemic and beyond
This is a fantastic resource for leaders at all levels and their teams during the pandemic but surely into the future as remote work will only become more prevalent. As an executive coach to leaders at top companies around the world, many of whom face enough complexity with managing teams in person, I can’t think of a more handy guide to create better connection and motivation as their teams operate virtually.Christopher’s activities are presented in a manner that is clear and easy to apply, especially for leaders who are not trained facilitators or OD professionals. His creative ideas bring a welcome sense of relief for those managers who truly want to bring comfort and empathy to their teams but just need some guidance on how to do it, while still driving results.
