Flexible design but hard to clean the aftermath of doubly incontinent cat who backs into the mess after becoming travel sick. First remove carrier with cat and deposit on path close to hosepipe and drain. Clean car seat. Spray well with variety of anti stench sprays. Wrestle stinky mucky cat into old towel next to bowl of water and attempt to mop up worst before said cat escapes and rushes indoors through cat flap and under settee leaving trail of unmentionable mix of substances everywhere including carpet. Scrub, disinfect basket which takes forever as the mess is in all the mesh including zips, nooks and crannies and takes an hour including a good final hose down. It is not easy to remove filthy base board as the velcro is strong and then you have to wrestle the wet , yuck, fluffy cover off to add to the towels, own clothes etc and load into washing machine. Also the base board is fluted plastic so care needed to make sure it toonis clean. Get out first aid kit for plasters. Forget carpet until stepping into cat mess. Find paracetamol for headache after checking cost of vet and dry cleaning carpet and settee. 3 years later of annual vet visits and with this years visit looming dig out cat carrier from storage in shed. Odd smell in shed. With cat loaded and on way to vet realise that terrible smell in car is not cat. Penny drops at vets that the plastic panels on the carrier have developed the stink of extremely strong tom cat. Vet also has good sniff and agrees it is the carrier. After usual wash routine find that absolutely no cleaner known on the planet will get the smell off the carrier which stinks out every where it is put. This time tomorrow it will be residing in its final resting place in the local recycling depot! As it was always clean and sweet smelling for 3 years and close inspection, ie sniff test, proves it is the plastic but not the cloth, I have reluctantly bought a new rigid carrier. Shame as cat actually liked it.

This is a cat/puppy carrier. Nice looking item.

She went straight into it and actually spent hours playing in it, which is a sharp contrast to the other carrier she had and hated.
