Is it the right size if you intend to store vinyl records in it?

No, the inside width of the crate is less than that of a vinyl.

How heavy is this crate? I'd like to put it on the back of my bike.

Not sure of the actual weight but they are very light and could be used as a bicycle carrier. I would estimate they weight something like 1 lb.

great bike basket. I'm looking for a suitable lightweight liner that fits? Any suggestions?

Are you thinking about putting this basket on your bike? I think it might be a little too large for that use. Try buying a basket that is made specifically for bikes … and it will probably already be lined.

Do you make a crate that holds vinyl records?

Yes we do. They are called Super Crates or S-Crates.
