Grapefruit Saver Keeper Storage Container, Keeps Fruit Fresh Longer

Because I'm going back to eating better with holistic foods and getting off of the medications that Dr's are pushing so they can make money, I decided to buy this container to safe the second half of my morning grapefruit in instead of using plastic bags. One of the main foods that I've added to my diet is grapefruit. (If you're on any medications, please do your research first and talk with your Dr or professional because grapefruit can't be taken with many medications.) This container is cute and easy to find in my fridge. It literally looks like a 1/2 of a cut grapefruit. At the moment, I'm eating 1/2 a grapefruit every other day and this container's keeping the second 1/2 fresh until I eat it. It's large enough to hold the large pink grapefruit halves after I cut my fruit that my store's selling with room to spare. I would definitely recommend this item to those grapefruit eaters out there that wants to not only save their fruit, but also cut down on plastic waste of using plastic bags.

Perfect! This was exactly what I needed! It fits my half grapefruit perfectly in the fridge while I eat the other half. No more plastic wrap or baggies!

I just got this little grapefruit keeper on impulse since I have been eating a lot of grapefruit lately. I didn't expect anything since it's an inexpensive item. But it's a great little container. I was surprised how big a grapefruit I can get into it. When I take out the second half I just eat it right out of this the bowl. Keeps the juices from going all over and it doesn't slide. There is a little design on the bottom which keeps the grapefruit from sliding around. This was money well spent. You can of course also use it for oranges but most people don't save half an orange but just in case. It's also bpa free, goes into the top shelf of the dishwasher and is compact.

This arrived in perfect condition. The lid does screw on but does not seal tightly. If you put it on it's side (say in a lunch box), it will leak a little. If jostled in the lunch box, it can become unscrewed and leak more. If I can put it right side up and leave it that way, it saves my grapefruit perfectly. It is easier than seran wrap, easier to find in the work and home fridge and doesn't get crushed in the lunch box. Overall, I do like it, I just wish the cap screwed on tighter and remained in place.

My wife eats half a grapefruit every morning for breakfast. She has been storing the leftover half in a plastic bag. Too small for half a grapefruit but works well to store onions or a small tuna mixture…

This solves the problem of what to do with the other half of a grapefruit if you only eat half a day. A large 1/2 grapefruit will fit in it easily. The top is nicely sealed and also not hard to remove. Also makes a great gift for someone starting out in the kitchen, or fir someone who already has everything.

This little package keeps the other half of my grapefruit fresh and ready to eat the next day. The bottom is flat so the container is solid and sturdy. the shape and coloring make it easy to find and identify in the fridge. Very Handy
