Taylor Made Products Easy-Up Gazebo Shade Top

Haven't used it yet as it is winter and haven't been out on the boat much. I live in Texas so we use ours year round. Mine is missing the hardware though.. sure would like that. When I look for product support it takes me to the website for Taylor Made Golf products. lol. not sure. Will have to figure it out to use it though.Update: I was able to get in contact with the manufacturer and they are sending me the missing hardware.

This item is crap. Never got it out on the water. It looks so simple but it is nearly impossible for one person to assemble due to how they have you set the poles. the hard rubber boot that seats into the pole mount broke on all four ends now the poles won't stay put. once you get it up you better hope there is no wind. the slightest wind lifted the poles out of their holder slot and the pole sprang out flat. which knocked down the whole tent. the fabric is very thin, already ripping. and all this happened in the driveway, i would hate to have tried this out on the water. never buy this product.

This gazebo does what it is intended to do; it provides needed shade to the front of the pontoon when moored or anchored. Be aware that quality control is lacking and the company is not willing or able to fix problems correctly. I received the gazebo missing one of the straps that makes the connection between the playpen/railing and the gazebo corner. No big deal, right? Wrong!! I contacted Taylor via email and got a fairly quick response. The representative seemed to understand my need and agreed to send the needed part. A week later, I received an envelope in the mail and excitedly opened it. Wrong part. I sent another email and was told that they don't carry spare parts for this model, so she sent what they had! OMG! She knew she sent the wrong part and can't get another?! I am appalled and disappointed. Seemingly good customer service gone awry. My response expressing my disappointment has gone unanswered.

Quite honestly the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars has to do with how the poles attach to the canvas. There are only Velcro lashings on the underside, the poles do not slip through sleeves (like a tent), that means that erecting this on a boat requires two people. Now don't get me wrong...could one person do it??...probably. But I am not coordinated enough to try that and risk loosing a pole to the bottom of the lake. Now, once this thing is up and in place, IT IS AWESOME!!! My dealer wanted $1,000+ to install a second bimni, I opted to try this and I do not regret it. I recommend this cover for any pontoon boat owner, but please read what I put first.

This is a great shade cover for a boat. Unfortunately we have an 18 foot pontoon and this top was far too large for our boat so we had to return it.

Don't buy this. You have to manually assemble the cover each time you want to use it. Not worth the hassle.

I purchased this hoping to add shade to the front of my Pontoon, but once assembled, it looked way to small for a pontoon.The cover did not have any top center strap to hold the two shock poles in place, which was a big PITA.The cover itself seems about 1-2’ short on each side of the boat as the center only reach the front of my front bench seats. So this would not provide any shade to those seats.The center pole that holds the top of the cover seemed to be to short for the cover and was very loose to the point of almost falling out.Sent back for a refund.

Looks great but needs dipper brackets to put poles in

Very poor quality. We followed the steps to set this up. When it was time to put up the canopy, the velcro strips were so poorly sewn that the thread came out and left holes in the canopy. Since you are not supposed to drive with the canopy up, I have no idea how you would be able to erect it while out on the water, especially if it was windy. We didn't even get it up at the dock. It is being returned.
