I had to buy a new tank recently when my old one sprung a leak and I couldn't fix it and I needed a new background because my old tank was shaped differently. I loved the PVC background and just can't get into the new trend of cloth ones. Cloth and water just don't mix in my opinion. But the design on the few PVC backgrounds I could find were soo not what I was looking for. And then I found this. It's perfect!! It's similar to what I had before, which I really wanted to keep my turtle from having too much of a change. I got the 71 inches one because my new tank is 36x18 and it was perfect! It actually wrapped around the back and both ends (so I think it was more like 73 inches). I did have to cut it down from 23 inches tall to 13 5/8 inches to fit my tank, but I chose the area of the design I wanted to show in the tank and trimmed it easily using scissors. The colors are so vibrant and it looks great!! Exactly what I wanted. Oh, and it's not adhesive despite the title so you will need to secure it in place with some tape.

PRO:1. Nice and big and true to size.2. Has many applications it can be used for, you can cut it into four parts and use on small tanks if you want.3. Two sided.CON:1. It has no adhesion at all, it not static cling, etc.2. Careful to not crease it.3. You can only use one side at a time. I know, my fault, but for some reason I thought I was getting two.OTHER:1. Buy if you want a nice background.2. Save time and efforts, do what the pros do, buy plain BLACK sticker and use that, makes your tank look nice, again, buy plain BLACK adhesive sticker on a roll. Trust me, it looks much better.

Ok so I was super excited for this to arrive and it's definitely a 2 person project.I'm going to buy a second one because in my live plant tank the coral is way to large and looks like blobs of I don't know what. I'd rather have more greenery.I do like that it hides the cords so that's cool.HOT TIP: Trace out your tank dimensions on a piece of paper, lay it on the poster, and cut along the measuring tape to get precise straight lines.MAKE NOTE: The tape arrives wrapped around the poster....it looks like paper but it's the tape! 👍🏼

I love this background and the fact that you have 2 choices. It looks beautiful in our tank. Our fishes have a wonderful place to swim!

Looks just like photo. Fit my tank perfectly. I used scotch tape to hold in place.

its about half an inch to wide for a 55 gallon tank and the image is a tiny bit blury but it's really nice and was the perfect background
