NLT Life Application Study Bible, Third Edition (LeatherLike, Purple, Red Letter) Imitation Leather – May 4, 2021

I was looking for a study Bible that offered additional commentary and historical context, and this one certainly delivered. I highly recommend it if you're seeking a Bible that allows you to explore deeply and truly grasp the material you are reading.

I bought a Life Application large print study Bible a week or two ago and fell in love with it. I just bought a 2nd in a regular 8.5 font. The large print was too large to hold without pain. I guess I am a baby.I also bought more magnification in my reading glasses. To the manufacturers of this Bible. It needs to be a 9 or 9.5 font for the regular and the 10.75 for large print. 8.5 is too small a print for most unless you are in your 20's.Having said that this is the best Bible I have ever owned. I love the translation options. I love the character breakdowns, the full page break down of each book with timeline, the life application, the reference scriptures, the concordance.... This is a phenominal Bible.Having said all of that the large print font is for home use not for carrying. Even then holding it to read was a lot for me.If your eye sight is fairly good buy the 8.5 font and just get reading glasses with more magnification. Or do like me I have the large print and the 8.5 font also new reading glasses with 3.0 magnification to read the 8.5 font.

This Bible is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s beautiful! The words of Jesus are in red, it has book introductions and timelines. I love the character profiles as well.

I have the brown leather one and ordered this one for my wife. It has a beautiful leather feel and design to it, everything is exactly the same as my “traditional” leather one. Only one thing I would say is of some slight concern is the pages on this one were stuck together a lot more than on mine. Almost as though when they painted the edges they just didn’t dry properly but with careful use they unstick easily and they will no longer stick together like that again. Very satisfied!

Easy to read. I love the references and explanations before each chapter and cross references on every page. I especially enjoy the timelines and references to specific ancient history I learned in school. A good source for the advanced Bible learner.

Fantastic quality, the cover is lovely. I've been an ESV girl most of my adult life, and I've really loved reading the NLT translation. The commentary is great, too, and approaches the text with application in mind.

Love that large print and all the extra.
