We got these for our son's treehouse and mounted them to either side of the door. They collect sunlight and store it, and then he can just take them off their hooks and use them as lighting for inside his clubhouse. He said he loves doing that because it makes him feel like an explorer going into a cave. They have a sturdy wrought iron frame and hook and hold up well. We may take them in during big storms though.

These appear to be non branded generic solar lights. They come in a plain Jane cardboard box and the packing is inadequate. The light hangers broke though the plastic bag which allowed them to roam free inside the box. The light tops were separated from the bottom glass cages. One of the lights had a blemish (gauge mark) on the light cage. Could be because the parts were loose inside the box or during manufacture... not the quality that I expected. Poorly packaged items lead me to think of poor workmanship.Compared to my my previously purchased 10 lumen light output lights of the same style, the light output appears about the same. The only detectable difference I could see is that the LED filament appears a little hotter (whiter) but really does not appear to cast any more light than my existing lights.I’m going back to the other brand from a Canadian Company which SCREAM QUALITY right down to the packaging. Those Classy Solar lights were packaged well to maintain their awesome quality... no loose parts and no blemishes in the metal. Also, they are less expensive at the time of this writing.

There were two in the box. They were packed well and it did not look like they shifted in shipping.I placed one on each side of my back door. They are brighter than I was expecting them to be.I have two Papillion's and they are afraid to go outside, alone, after dark. My dogs went outside on the first night I hung these lights without me following them. That has not happened in the three years we have lived at this house.My son likes the way they light up the area and how easy the light is on his eyes. He is ordering a couple of sets for his house.

I dislike the fact that in both my orders only one of the two lights worked !

These are very cute. I considered buying anothe set but one has already stopped working. Didn't see that you could buy just one so now my shed has only one working light didn't want to have to buy something dif so I'm stuck. Haven't even had them for a month. Disappointed..

Really liked these lights straight out the box. Have a really nice design and are built to last with great quality. The charge last just about all night and there isn’t much sun as of now during the day so that’s impressive. If you’re are looking for stylish solar lights I would recommend.

Updated review. One would think that the outcry of customers complaining about crappy batteries would inspire the DERAYSION Store (or Amazon) to start selling replacement batteries for these lights, not the case. I would recommend you NOT buy these lights until the company (or Amazon) starts to support this product better by offering replacement batteries.My original, 3 start review, written while I was still hopeful that I could find batteries that would work. Product is good but the generic batteries are troublesome. One of the batteries quit charging within weeks of them being in use. I used the one good battery to make sure it wasn't the fixture and confirmed it was working fine and that it was in fact the battery that had failed. I can't find a suitable replacement battery anywhere for these lights.

I am pleasantly surprised. I had been using cheaper, "single tiny LED" Plastic Solar Lanterns behind house in a fairly sunny ( full unobstructed sun part for of the day), and replaced them with these. There are much better built, and the light output is many times greater than the old units with the tiny single LED. They were installed in June, it's been about 2 months as I write this , and so far, even on cloudy/overcast days, the lights charge and are still on at 1 or 2 AM, the latest I have checked before going to bed. Hopefully the lithium rechargeable battery in these, has good life and will not need to be replaced too soon.

Purchase and deilivery went incredibly well. Hopefully the work as well as advertised.
