This doesn't really refer to my situation

Unfortunately, the filter doesn't fit the Hoover I have. I did put the model number in to the website and presumed the item showed would fit my cleaner. The lugs at the top are fractionally off the fitting. I did speak with your retailer. I haven't returned the item yet as I am waiting for my son to come and see if he can adapt it.
