I cook a lot and I LIKE this stuff !!!
Good stuff. I cook a lot, and for au jus dipped meat sandwiches on brioche buns, this makes a very nice dip. Excellent for soups too which is my main use.Better value than the store bought little bottle of better than bullion in my opinion. The normal beef base is similar to this but with less bite and a tad less fat. When I make an au jus sandwich, I WANT the extra bite and the tiny bit more fat!! That's what makes the dip!! Good for dipping steak too!! Yummmmmmmmmay!Right tool for the right job. BOTH their au jus and beef flavor are excellent. Get one of each and compare each. They won't go to waste in any event. I got mine in the fridge right away and store them there. I have a chicken variety but haven't tried it yet, but given the above I bet it's good to better.

SUPER !!
This was absolutely wonderful, taste just like the 5 Star Restaurants I am used to! Worth ever penny. I will definitely repurchase it. You can make it thi for your sandwich or steak Au jus or make it thicker with some flour or cornstarch for gravy. Trust me, you mix it with water, stir, heat it in the microwave or a pot and you're ready to serve Au Jus in 2 minutes! 5 STARS all the way.

Minors is the best AuJus. Nothing else is close
This is the real deal. The one you want. It's delicious.I tried the highly rated "Johnny's" and thought it was horrible.I usually get the liquid concentrate in the 1 pint jug.The only downside is the highly inflated shipping prices from SoupBase, but it's the only place I can find Minors. And not only are the shipping rates high, but you get the privilege of waiting an additional 4 days for the order to be processed.AMAZON - Please stock this as a Prime item!UPDATE: Amazon seems to have lumped all the versions under one review portal, so this is for the Tub that has the concentrated "goo" in it :)Rating remains 5 stars.A few handling tips & tricks. This version of the Aujus can be tricker to work with than the liquid because it's more of a paste/goo than anything else. It's hard to spoon, and hard to measure.I have a cure for that.Freeze it !Not only does that make it MUCH easier to work with, but it should last longer. Now, the other issue is measurements for smaller amounts. They don't provide any. Sometimes I just need a 1/2 cup or a cup for me and me alone. Here's what I came up with.Use a kitchen scale set to grams. Put a small solo cup or whatever on it and tare it.Now, for every 1 cup of Au jus you want, use 20 grams of flakes from the frozen goo.Toss the frozen goo and water in a pan, boil, and serve!

Straight-forward beef flavor without a lot of spices
Doing roast beef au jus style is one of my favorite sandwiches. But I like the au jus to be natural tasting and not spiced, so I prefer it not have garlic or onion. That's surprisingly hard to find on Amazon. I went through a bunch of products reading ingredient lists before finding this one. It does have a bit of soy sauce, but otherwise nothing that spices up the flavor. The flavor doesn't match what comes off my prime rib, but it's more than acceptable for sandwiches. It has good beef flavor, and since it's concentrate, you can make it as strong as you want. It's a bit harder to dissolve than I expected. I've learned to heat the water before trying. I do a teaspoon is a small cup, with about four or five ounces of water.
