Minute White Rice, Instant White Rice for Quick Dinner Meals, 28-Ounce Box

Minute Rice is a lifesaver in our house! I’ve never found a better value than this from Amazon—it’s quick, easy, and perfect for everything. My goldendoodle eats wet food with white rice, and we use it for all kinds of meals like orange chicken or chicken and rice. It’s a staple here, and it always turns out great!

Rice is my food staple but I’m just too lazy to cook it when I feel like eating. This instant rice is actually great. Not sticky like the Japanese rice I was raised on but for an instant rice, it’s got good texture and is fluffier than other instant rice I’ve tried. I just boil some water, pour it on and mix, then let it stand for 15 minutes and it’s done. Nice clean taste and I’ll define ordering more.

for what it is its an excellent product, a fast easy way to make rice - the quality is no where as good as making quality rice from scratch but thats not the point of this rice - to get the minute rice to be light and "fluffy" takes more than soaking it in boiling water for 5 minutes though - i make it in a pan by bringing water to boil then add rice and simmer 5 minutes then turn heat off and let soak on warm burner another 5 minutes or so to really get it well cooked - cleans up nice that way no burned rice kettle - the flavor is a bit "off" so not as nice to eat just as rice but blends well with other food like beans or veggies - love it for the ease of cooking and easy cleanup

We have this on our subscribe and save list so we get multiple boxes each month - the price is good and my husband eats a lot of rice due to having kidney disease - it has no sodium.Because of the design of the box that the rice comes in, rice leaks out of the seams. I bet if I went into the grocery store I'd find rice on the shelf next to these boxes - and perhaps the other brands of rice too. I don't necessarily want them to put the rice in plastic bags inside the box, like cereal, as we all know what happens after the first pour - then you've got rice at the bottom of the box, between the box and the bag.If they'd just put some clear tape along the seams on the box it would solve everything.But back to the rice, it cooks up fast and easy, I'd never go back to non-instant rice - it's generally cheaper, but I figure I'm using more electricity to cook it and then it's more time -- minute rice it is for this house!

What’s to say? Minute rice has been around for years. The rice is as reliable now as it was then.
