IMEX IMEX509 – Plastic Model Kit

There are about 50 of these little characters...very small, and they have to be cut apart from the little plastic frame to which they're attached. When you cut them apart, it leaves a little piece of plastic under the base of each soldier, so they won't stand up. I was so delighted to find Alamo figures for my fourth grade social studies class, and I hate to criticize because it's one of the only sets I could find, and it was a great price. However, I haven't figured out a way to make the bases flat on the bottom because of that little plastic bit that's left after cutting them loose from the set. It was kind of frustrating.

The picture shows a canon and there are no canons in this set. In fact, nothing on the little picture is in this set. Very disappointed as it's needed for a school project. Even paid extra to have them shipped faster.

These figures are EXACTLY the size they are supposed to be. If you want the size figures to go with the old Marx Alamo set and other larger sets, you must buy the 54 mm or 1/32 scale figures. Yes, you have to be careful cutting them off, using an Exacto knhttps://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51dQ1KXST2L._SS300_.jpgife, not scissors... To paint them you need the small 00 size paintbrush, and it is time consuming. BUT, if you have the proper scale Alamo, they are great. BUT not for little hands.

I bought these for my grandson and had to put them away, they were way to small. I know I should have checked the size, but I can't figure out who these are for.

This was not what I expected. The figures were much much smaller than I expected. Also they were very hard to break off of the plastic form. I expected them to stand but they would not.

NOT what we expected...maybe my fault...but we needed Alamo fighters for a school project, didn't expect to have to paint the tiny little buggers!
