Oven safe. If you are looking for real pyrex buy this, don't buy Pyrex brand.
If you are looking for a pyrex dish this is the one you want, not the Pyrex brand dishes. Real pyrex is made from borate glass which is tough and handles high heat. When Corning sold off the Pyrex brand the American company that bought it switched to a cheaper lime glass which is out and out dangerous. I didn't know that so I bought a set of Pyrex brand glass dishes, the first time I put it in the oven it exploded. I then I did a little research and found out that Pyrex isn't pyrex anymore but that Arcuisine is. I've been using this dish for a number of months now and it performs exactly as expected. It's oven safe, I bake fish and roast chicken in it every week and it works fine.

A Fine Glass Baking Dish
I'm happy to have found this dish to replace a broken one of the same kind. It has nice, thick glass, and an elegant shape. It is a smaller size that is useful for enchiladas and cannelloni. I also have the larger one which works well for making lemon bars. These dishes aren't easy to find in the US anymore, so I was happy to see it was available from Amazon Germany. Arrived safe and secure.

Size descriptions are misleading, it's the outside (including handle) measurements.
I gave this four stars but only because I think it would probably work fine, I never used it though and returned it due the size being incorrect. I'd bought it to replace a very well loved Pyrex 13x9 casserole dish that my husband dropped on the back patio. Reading the reviews on the Pyrex and seeing all the warnings about shattering worried me enough that I bought this since it is made of the supposedly safer borosilicate glass. However, I was very disappointed with the size. It was much smaller than stated. I bought the 13.75x9 size and found that this size is only technically correct if you measure from outside edge (including handles) to outside edge, the inner dimensions were a good inch smaller at the widest portion (so 12x8 at best), this is not an even rectangular shape and is wider in the middle than at the sides. I already have an 11x7 dish so this wasn't larger enough to be worth keeping. I decided to send it back and buy Pyrex again. I found and read the Consumer Report review and didn't see anywhere where they said it was really less safe if used correctly. I'd had that old Pyrex dish for 7+ years with no problems so figured I would take my chances and just buy Pyrex again, I'd be as safe as I would have been if my husband had never dropped the original one. To be sure I really did have the same item though I chose to buy from the Pyrex website vs. the one offered on Amazon (my old one had scalloped edges and the Amazon ones don't). Anyway, if you really want this item be sure to subtract an inch from the measurements for a more accurate idea of the size you'll be getting.

Like Pyrex used to be before it was made in China
Get this, not Pyrex.Pyrex in the U.S. is made using low-grade soda lime glass, which can shatter or even explode when heated/cooled quickly or unevenly.Pyrex's cheap glass also tends to scratch easily and look cloudy after a short time.Arcuisine uses high-end borosilicate glass, the same stuff used in lab equipment. It's safer and lasts longer. It's also the glass that Pyrex was once made from before Corning sold it to a shady Chinese company.

but very pleased with the look and feel
I bought it after reading reviews of Pyrex and the fact that it was no longer made in the US. I had a Pyrex dish shatter when I put it on my Granite counter top and read that the French made Arcuisine does not shatter. I have not used it yet, but very pleased with the look and feel .

Just like the Pyrex of oil
The new Pyrex is very dangerous glass (shatters easily). This brand seems to be made with the original type of heat resistant glass. It proved to be very reliable and durable.

Not the reality I was looking for
I wanted to love this, but the reality is, stuff sticks, and gets into the little groove and really gets hard to remove. Yes, I'm probably abusing the dish with heat and splash and all that, but that's what the dish is for, going in the oven and having things cook in it, right!?!? Its nice, its solid, and its almost as hard to clean as my other glass oven cookware, dang it.

Better than Pyrex
The new Pyrex can EXPLODE! ( Google is your friend)This is what you want. This is what the OLD Pyrex USED to be. I have these is two sizes, and I picked them because I read in reviews here just what I am telling you now about Pyrex EXPLODING possibly. These are really nice. I like them a lot.
