The thread is a good quality and is nice to work with. I bought these for my new serger machine I am learning how to use. They were easy to thread and I have been happy with the results. The color is a true black. The spools are a good size for the price.

I received these serger threads quickly and they were well priced, but they broke a lot, which meant I had to rethread the needle frequently. I have a top of the line sewing machine and it can be finicky with some threads, so I'm not sure if this would work well with a serger.

So I bought these because I'm cheap and these were a steal for being multicolored thread. Well, here's the deal, these are those BIG spools, not the ones that are a little bigger than normal thread spools, these are for the machines with a long pole on them. So I finagled something up so I could wrap some bobbins. I don't really know if I can get any thread on to regular size spools, so bobbins for now. Not sure it's worth it to go through all that, but I'm still happy with my multi colored thread. :)
