Great Banana Plugs a a Good Price
These banana plugs are good quality and easy to use. They are inexpensive and that’s good for a lot of users that need quality equipment for their sound system but don’t want to break the bank doing so.

Good Plugs
Good speaker banana plugs, fit tight and work well. Only complaint is zero instructions and if you never used this type you will be wondering how to get the speaker wire to attach.

Fast connection for speaker wire
These make quick work of connecting bare speaker wires to your banana jack equipped amplifier or speakers. Simply put the bare wire through the hole and tighten the knurled knob. Then connect to the banana jacks on your amp or speakers. Added feature is that they are stackable. If you want to connect a second set of speakers, or bi-wire if your speakers are equipped for that, an additional set of these jacks plug into the first set.

WARNING: SALES FINAL, CAN'T RETURN! Worst banana plugs. Tips fall out and get stuck in ports
I've been using banana plugs for a while, and these are by far some of the worst. After struggling to get the threads to seal and hold the wire in place, I plugged it in. Well within a few minutes, the wire was falling out. So I went to take the plug out and re-install it in the plug. When I did that, the tip just fall right off with minimal resistance and got stuck in the port. Fortunately I had some needle-nose pliers that were able to get it out.Whatever, I'll just return it -- WAIT NO! I can't! Monoprice knows they're garbage and for some reason made them non-returnable. Didn't even dawn on me to think to look at ships/sold by Amazon as being non-returnable, but they did.DO NOT BUY THESE. And only buy them if you absolutely positively know that they will 100% work and not break off, because you will not be allowed to return them and make Monoprice continue to push fake reviews to drown out the real ones.

They work good!
I'm new to wiring and stuff for audio. I got these and followed a guide. They work great. Not issues so far. Even ordered some more for spares after.

Alright for the price
I picked up several pairs of these a few months ago because they were low cost and well reviewed. They were easy to connect but I had problems with my speaker wires pulling out even when the plug was screwed all the way closed. This probably wouldn't be an issue with heavier gauge speaker wire or wires that had been tinned on the ends. My only real complaint is that one of the tips broke off in my receiver when I went to unplug the speaker recently. This is the first time I've unplugged it since installing these plugs and I'm careful to have plenty of slack on my speaker wires so they don't pull at the back of my reciever. I think it was just a manufacturing defect with that plug. The other thing to keep in mind is that these will add and inch or more to the depth of your receiver when plughed into the back. More if you connect the wires axially. This wasn't a problem for our old TV stand but our new stand is fairly shallow so my receiver sticks out slightly from the front. To be clear this wasn't an issue with these plugs, just our lack of planning in accommodating the increased depth do to the plugs and wires.I would buy these again if I were budget conscious and didn't mind replacing one or two if they fail. They work fine and make plugging my stereo in sooooo much easier. I'm going to keep the ones I have but if any more snap I'm going to cough up for some heavier duty and lower profile ones.
