Impressive and high quality plant pot
I am very pleased with this 10 inch ceramic plant pot. It is nicely made, flawlessly finished, and looks good. It is not overly heavy for ceramic. The glaze is a white semi-gloss that that is a very slightly warm shade of white. It matches better with most decor than the bright and cold white of some other glazed pots. It is almost identical in shade to some smaller white ceramic pots of a different make that I have. In other words, it is a fairly standard white. It has a solid and well-constructed feel. I am going to put a silk plant in it, but it's nice that it has hole in the bottom with a removable plastic plug for live plants. It is glazed both inside and out. The bottom surface is not glazed, but it is fairly smooth for unfinished ceramic. Another thing that this pot has in it's favor is it's effective product box and packing. It is packed securely in a durable box, and surrounded on all sides with thick, solid styrofoam blocks, that hold the pot tightly in place and give it good cushioning. This is essential for the safe shipping of anything ceramic. Before I ordered this pot, I had ordered a 10 inch ceramic pot of a different make (it had an Italian-sounding name beginning with B). It's product box was flimsy, and had no packing or insulation. Consequently, the pot arrived smashed to pieces. I ordered the SONGMICS pot to replace that pot, and I am completely pleased!
