Airex Triangle Type Geyser Heating Element 1500 Watts (Silver), Copper

Though the element i replaced had much thicker copper walls and less flimsy looking,this indeed does the job, it has a very thin layer of some metallic coating over the copper pipe to prevent the copper from rusting or corroding,the hardness of the coating is a joke as it comes off with a good scrape with a hard object.The resistance to ground with an insulation tester read 18.19 Mega ohm for a 28.57 micro amp current over ground, and the resistance of the heating element was 29.05 ohms so roughly 1820wi paid 379rs for it with amazon shipping,the item was non prime but with no delivery charges, i didn't check what they cost locally but the price seems rational and also very convenient during the covid times, for what its worth the msrp on the packaging(yes it came in its own colour printed plastic wrap ) was 440rsi will keep this updated if it fails prematurelyUpdateFailed in less than a year,shop elsewhere the quality simply isn't there unless you enjoy replacing element often

Purchased in dec 2022. Lasted till June 2024. Though lasted longer than urban company replacement.Life of the heating element is also dependent on water quality and electricity fluctuations.Old heating elements used to last for many years due to copper element quality but the new ones are not as long lasting. Couldn't find any better

Good product

Insulation is not good. Worked fine just for one week. After that electrical shock is being done to the whole geyser.

A measurement error on my side gave a slight problem. But with a good product and decent price to it, then it can easily be adjusted. It was perfectly as described and works perfectly in my water heater.

Please don't purchase this, i brought on 21st Jan 2024, after fixing the coil, correctly 1 and half month worked later current is leaking from coil to water and getting shock due to poor quality material used (Outer Material is fully corroded). Luckily earthing is there didn't get any shock. So kindly don't purchase this item.

Even after spending money, the element is leaking which lead to electric shock... Need replacement of the product
