My watches (all gifts) range from Cartier, Gucci to Rolex -- none of which are suitable for the abuse entailed in my daily tasks. I searched long and hard for a small investment watch. The watch in this review is accurate; light and comfortable, yet strong and durable; waterproof and the only watch on Amazon in its price range that also provides the day of the week and the date! This watch has it all. Thank you to all those that made this watch's availability possible. I recommend highly.

Its beautiful. I needed a watch with date, and this is what I wanted. I hate digital watches, they look cheap. I have bought them, with this whole exercise fad, but I really hated them. this is classic looking. Only PROBLEM I had, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, was it was losing a little time every day. Seller said I could return it or try changing battery. You will probably need to get that done at a watch/jewelry repair shop as I did. I tried first to use one of the 2 extra batteries they include with the watch. It worked worse. I took it back, they replaced it with a new battery, and it is working perfectly. MY ADVICE - do not use those extra batteries, get a new one if this happens to you! It is working perfectly now and looks great!!!!!

I love how every thing is provided with the watch - tools to adjust belt, additional batteries. The watch is lovely too and it has day and date which is a big plus for me.Though i do agree it takes quite a few steps to adjust strap i think it's still doable. But i agree not everyone is that handy, still i think a one star review for not able to adjust strap is a little too much. There are many youtube videos explaining how to adjust straps. I guess what would help seller is providing a video in the descriptions of how to determine how many links to remove(had a hard time figuring that out, which resulted in too many steps) and step by step of how to go about adjusting it. If that is provided i will give 5 stars for this product.The instructions are present in the box but the print is too small and hard to read especially for older folks. On top of that trying to adjust the watch which itself has extremely small parts makes it all the more an awful experience. The instructions can be a bit bigger in font and with diagrams where possible.Overall i do recommend this product.

The watch arrived exactly as pictured even though the box arrived damaged due to flimsy packaging. For the price paid, it is hard to make any real complaints. The watch was brand new, looks very elegant and works as expected. I was able to see the day of week and date with no problem. Once you figure out how to use it, the date and time has been pretty accurate. Not wanting to accidentally break the watch myself, I took my watch to have someone adjust the band and the guy took out about 5 rows (I have a tiny wrist) within a couple minutes. My only complaint is the watch didn't really glow in the dark very well. That was the main reason why I bought this watch. But because it looked so elegant and everything else was good, I am still happy. It is extremely hard to actually find a watch that really glows in the dark, at least in this price range. I think some of the reviewers are expecting this watch to behave like a $200 watch.

the watch is beautiful. My only issue is that I cannot read the day and date window- too small for my senior eyes. Does anyone make a nice looking watch with a day/date window that is senior eyesight friendly? I went ahead and ordered the men's size in hopes that I can read the day/date window on it. Hope it doesn't look too awkward on a woman's wrist. The price is so good as well as the quality I may end up keeping it because I'm tired of wearing out leather watch bands on my Invicta watches. :-( update- gotten used to not seeing the day and date window- watch is beautiful and comfortable. :-)

Watch is very attractive but much larger than what really wanted. Had to take it to a jeweler and have 3 links removed from band. The jig sent with the directions was bent and could not be used in fear of damaging the watch. The band was not what was presumed to be. Photo does not show the back of the watch band - really wanted a band that was closed with a clasp - not a one part band that locks. Is heavier than what I wanted, but was not worth returning to Amazon. Am wearing it, but not really happy with it.

My poor mother's eyesight is diminishing rapidly. So much, that she could not read the dial on her Omega (she has given it to me--score!). Mum and I went to several sites and looked at many watches. She really liked the Olevs watch with the brown leather band. She cannot stop singing its superlatives. She has no issues reading the time and the leather band is a perfect fit. The watch face is beautiful.I am impressed that the watch came in a very pretty box with jeweler's tools to unscrew the backing of the watch to replace its battery. The box also came with two replacement batteries, and an extended band, probably for larger wrists. Not to sure about that.Lastly, the inexpensive price is a major plus.

This is a beautiful watch. The packaging and protective film covering the band and clockwork shows that this company take care and pride in their product. Also, customer service and attentiveness are on point as well. The reason I gave this product 4 stars nstead of 5 is because it is difficult to set the day of the week and the numerical date in the smaller window. Though, careful to pull the knob out to the correct position the day and date are still very difficult to set and at times it does not turn at all. So far the finish is beautiful... No scratches, no dull spots, no tarnishing. And it seems to be water resistant as stated (I wash my hands a lot. If I unintentionally get water on my wrist the wash seems fine). Again, I love the finish and hopefully in time it won't tarnish.Other than the day/date setter, I am pleased with my purchase.
