They hold very well. Used them for my hanging candles and they do not budge!

So I know push pins as well as the next gal. Like who could really KNOW push pins. Maybe the people who manufacture them? I bought this set to hang stuff on old 1970's fake wood paneling in my closet. The "wood" is harder then average wall but by no means hard. I'd say 50% of these push pins are breaking on me as I try to use them. I end up grabbing the tall plastic thumb tacks instead because these don't hold up. The two I've gotten in are working like champions. But the plastic bulky pins are doing just fine in the wall compared to these just not the look I was going for. And those big bulky plastic ones are for sure 100+ for a dollar at the dollar store.

Works well

Visited four separate stores downtown in an urban centre and not a single one had thumbtacks. One had big plastic pushpins. Do I know that buying things on Amazon is destroying local businesses and that's why I can't find anything downtown? Yes. It's a vicious circle. The tacks are fine, flat on one end, pointy on the other.

They are not very sturdy. The 2 piece seperate and they fall apart.

Used as secondary support while putting self adhesive led strips on drywall. Press carefully on center of head with firm motion and only rarely will you fold one.

Made well, nice and sharp easily push into drywall or plywood.
