It fits nice and tight! Using the Buttons it’s relatively easy! It’s great! Great durability! The seal works great against water like rainy days it’s clear quality!

This is an extremely well-made, waterproof case. Unfortunately, I wanted to use it for skiing and it's really too heavy to mount on a lightweight ski helmet. This is much larger and heavier than the one I had for my Hero 3+. But the new Hero 13 black is already weatherproofed to level perfect for skiing so it worked great without this case, even in bad weather.

This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. I took two GoPro cameras to Malaysia on vacation with my family. One was primarily used without the dive case for swimming and snorkeling. I used a GoPro Hero 11 with the dive housing for several SCUBA dives over multiple days. I had no issues with condensation, video quality or anything else. Worked just as I expected and made sure that there was no damage to the camera over repeated salt water dives.

Generally you can mix and match GoPro and 3rd party accessories but I’ve found at least with the waterproof case the genuine GoPro is better designed, greater durability and big one here doesn’t easily flip open on impact. Been using these for several years in touring and whitewater kayaking so impacts to the head can and have happen. Some of the cheap third party cases literally have busted open because they don’t have that extra locking mechanism like the GoPro case. Picture looks the same on both, no issues with fogging with both, but value for the money well no brainer I prefer a case that actually stays closed so spend couple bucks more to protect your investment.

The case seems well made for what it is, and should provide additional protection for the GoPro camera when doing water activities. The closing/opening mechanism seems quite secure which gives confidence that the housing will be water-tight as long the rubber on the seal is in good condition and not dirty.However, the buckle (the black plastic piece you attach with a thumb screw to the hooks on the bottom so you clip it into a mount) included with this housing is the shorter version offered by GoPro. Due to the shape of the housing, this shorter buckle cannot be rotated into a vertical position. This effectively means that with the included buckle you can only clip the housing into horizontal orientation mounts . The housing can not be used in a vertically oriented mount, such as the GoPro chest strap I am planning to frequently use the housing with, when using the included buckle. GoPro also does not sell the necessary taller buckles individually. You can only get a extra taller buckle with the GoPro "Grab Bag" which includes a lot of other stuff I don't need and costs nearly half as much as this whole protective housing.

Even though the Gopro is waterproof it was a nice extra peace of mind Protection for the camera while snorkeling and the pics and videos came out clear with it!
