I think they're heavy duty enough and will last, but of course time will tell. I like that they are fingered not mittens so can better control your grip. I have average hand size not big so these fit pretty well. The length of the glove goes up my kind of short arms about 4 inches short of my elbow so I will take care not to put my arm too deeply into a hot kettle. If you are a casual griller not a pit boss or anything these should be just fine and for all I know a pit boss might like them fine too. I imagine some expensive gloves are a better fit or have better heat protection but I really don't have much to compare them with other than another oven mitt I have used that is similarly inexpensive. Just try and find out if they are good enough for your grilling needs.

I purchased these gloves for when I grill and smoke ribs. I purchased them because they appeared to be a little smaller than others that are offered. They are a little too big for my hands, but my husband loves them so it's not a big deal breaker. They do protect your hands from the heat and I do recommend them because of that. I just wish they were a little smaller.

These worked out awesome when smoking meat. It made it much easier to handle then trying to use other kitchen items. They do run a tad small I feel like.

I bought these to use with my pellet grill but I used them for removing hot containers from my microwave. They work very well for that. I have fairly large hands and these fit snuggly.

Have had these for a couple years and love them. Easy to clean up with soap and water like you are washing your hands. Will definitely buy again if they wear out. Bought this pair for my daughter, and she loves them as well. Excellent grilling gloves!!

Cheap, solid craftsmenship, keeps your hands protected. What's not to like?? Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  These are great to protect you hands from being burned. I have a multi-function microwave and a toaster oven. I've burned my hands removing things from both. These gloves work amazingly well, and allow for a good grip. Only downfall is they are very tight on the forearm area. These will not work if you have thick arms.
