Golden State Art, 11x14 Gold Picture Frame Displays Photo 8x10 with Ivory Mat or 11x14 Without Mat for Wall Mounting Aluminum Frames with Real Glass (Pack of 6)

I bought these frames to use with art that was painted on a thin art board. The art is 11 X 14. I wanted to remove the glass so the art could be touched and not smothered, but found that the manufacturer had glued the glass to the frame. Not only that, the glue was not all dry when they added the mat, so parts of it was stuck too. I didn't really need the mat for the size of art that I have, but I still didn't expect it to be a situation where the front finish would tear away from the mat because of the glue, which one did. The frame is slightly not square too. The quality and sturdiness of the frame seems good in general and if you are using it for the 8 x 10 and don't need to take the mat out to wash the glass before using it and if you have a photo that is 11 x 14 or a smidge less you might be happy with this. I have never bought a frame of any kind that had glass, that the glass was glued in and could not be. When I found it was not usable for my 11 x 14 art panel, I thought I could use it for 8 x 10s later, till the mat tore. So... these are good or not good, depending on what you want them for.

These frames are so nice and don’t look like the cheaper plastic looking ones. These have thicker glass and feel much heavier than other frames this size. They each arrived in the most secure packaging and didn’t have any marks on them. Completely sealed with plastic wrap, cardboard and foam pieces. Not even any dust or smudges.The wall hangers on the back of each frame are all securely attached and placed in the same spot on each frame, so you only have to measure one to know where to place the nail on the wall. We did a gallery wall with these and they look really elegant and way more expensive than what we paid. Buying more for the other rooms in the house!Also: can be hung vertically or horizontally

I originally bought this print of sea urchins and hated it. Then the frame I had ordered arrived and once I put it in the frame I fell in love with the print again! This frame is SOOOO classy, elegant and made from quality materials it will make your art or photographs pop! I loved it so much I’m ordering another one.

This is a very high quality beautiful frame that looks fantastic. However there are a few things that led me to deduct a star. The first being that the white padding between the photo and the frame is not actually white. It has a yellowish tint to it, which is quite noticable if you are hanging it near anything that is actually white (all our window crown mounts are white). Secondly it's a bit difficult to place the photo properly in the frame and requires you to tape it in place as it will not stay put without tape.

Perfect for a 11x14 diploma if you take the mat out.I didn’t want to pay a lot to frame my diploma and this frame fits my 11x14 diploma perfectly once I took the white mat out. The rose gold also gives it a modern feel.

Loved these sating gold frames and off white mats. Recommend they be hung with 2 nails under the frame. The hanger in the back is difficult to find nail or hook. I purchased 2 of this size and 8 of the 8 x10. Great value and look!

Great for gifting. My girlfriend has a lot of beautiful art so I wanted to gift her a painting with a frame that would go well with her style. This was a great choice and I've ordered in silver now as well for another gift.
