I have a Shure condenser headset mic I use for sports PA announcing, along with a push-to-talk button. Unfortunately, condenser mics don't play well with PTT buttons: the surge of phantom power when you press and release the button makes a loud pop. Even PTT buttons designed to work with condenser mics have the problem. The solution: put this power supply between the mic and the PTT. No more power surge, no more pop. No need for the mixer to provide phantom power - as far as the mixer is concerned, you're using a dynamic mic, but with the great sound reproduction a condenser mic delivers. Nice to be able to use my favorite headset mic from the PA booth. It's also very quiet, as tested in my recording booth. Comparing a recording made without this supply (phantom power coming from the mixer) to one made with this supply (no phantom power from the mixer), there is less background noise when using this phantom power supply. In all, a very well made and quality product.

Perfect if you want to add phantom power to your amp that does not support it. I tried the Fathead Phantom and it did not work at all- this item is not only cheaper, it is rechargeable and works exactly as advertised. This is a life saver if you want to run your condenser mic through a system that doesn't already have phantom power. Five stars.

Doing exactly what I need it to do. Downsides: No USB C and connectors only work on cords. They won't directly work on wall or equipment mounted XLR ports. Upside is the led charge indicator so I can tell exactly what the charge state is. I'm worried about the power switch being bumped on while transporting but it hasn't been a problem yet.

The Xvive P1 does exactly what's it's supposed to do, which is provide phantom power to your audio devices. It's really useful for anyone who wants to plug their XLR condenser microphone straight into their camera, because DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras typically don't provide phantom power. And you can even plug a dynamic mic straight into your camera and get great sound when you combine the P1 with a Cloudlifter or other in-line preamps. As you'll see in the video, it sounds great! The claim on 40 hours of battery life seems to be legit so far. I haven't used it for 40 hours straight yet, but I have for around 10 hours and the LED battery indicator hasn't even dipped on light yet. The design is great - very small footprint and built very tough with its all metal chassis. At only $50, you can't go wrong buying this and carrying it with you everywhere if you're a video and/or audio professional.

Incredible product for the money. Does exactly what it says it will do. I have MANY of these, and they all function exactly the same. While I'm not sure about 40 hours of battery life, I can tell you that it is very good. I only use the 48v setting, and I probably get at least 15 hours out of these before they need to be recharged.

works as advertised . i can now use my condenser mic now that i have this tool . have tested it out twice and will be in a place to test it in a real live audience situation next week .

Es más caro que otros productos análogos, pero de este producto me gustó su pequeño tamaño y que no requiere conectarse para usarlo porque tiene batería de larga duración, solamente se conecta para recargar la batería. Funcionó en cuanto lo conecté, la batería venía con carga completa. Además el acabado es de primera calidad, considero que realmente vale lo que cuesta.

De buenos materiales y sobre todo súper fácil de utilizar. Funciona adecuadamente y te evita el tener más cables. Es muy práctico. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado perfectamente.
