From an urban hiker perspective
Wow, these are amazing. I was really not expecting the quality to be of pants that I'd expect for closer to $100 or more. I've never owned snow pants (and didn't know what they were for --skiing-- other than being fatter than regular tactical pants, now realizing that I'm gonna have a hook on the bottom of my pants I'll probably never use since I wasn't buying these for skiing?) Anyway, here's my perspective anyway. I love owning all kinds of gear for literally regular daily use. I don't climb mountains, I don't actually go long-term/long-range hiking (other than my local trails like a normie) but I love being outside for prolonged periods of time (at times walking my dog) and I also work outside. So I love owning gear for the Texas weather.Right off the bat, I noticed that these pants are basically like having a jacket for your legs. You can immediately feel the fluff inside the pants. Snow pants are like fluffy down jackets for your legs. They are great to wear in winter at home. They're comfortable enough (even though they're made out of nylon on the outside, the inside might be polyester, I don't know for sure but it feels comfortable and smooth) to be worn inside all day. Much more than a premium Levi stretch jeans. If you're cheap like me and don't like using heat, wear these! (combine them with wool socks or scuba socks)Some things I noticed, they are very wide and do not taper at the bottom (for obvious reason), you wouldn't want to be caught with these outside unless it's actually snowing. It will look very out of place. But I'm fine with them since I can still use them inside and when it's actually snowing or raining (but I don't know if they will hold up in the rain like my rain pants). I'm guessing I'll give them a shot in very cold weather if I don't wanna bulk up under my rain pants. This test remains yet to be tested but I'm assuming they won't hold up like my rain pants since these are for snow and not rain. They're resistant, not proof. Although I could probably put on my rain pants over these so it will take less time to get ready for rain rather than bulking up.These are definitely rugged pants even though they're not rip stopping. They seem much tougher than your regular nylon ripstop pants (I own several). They definitely seem tougher material than your regular nylon pants and I think ripstop is not even needed. This is just by feeling the fabric and in my expert opinion of owning pants. I let dogs come up to me and mess with my clothes so I know what kind of fabric can take what kind of beating. I've been there. I honestly don't really see the point of ripstop when generally you're going to run into issues with being poked into the fabric rather than stretched. ripstop doesn't protect against being poked (like by a dog's paws or pointy shrubs/vines). I feel like these pants could take a lot more beating than perhaps my toughest nylon pants I own.I was quite impressed by the zippers on these pants. There's a fly zipper, then two front pocket zippers (no back pockets) and zippers by your ankles, all are high quality, thick/fat smooth zippers. Basically the best you can have. There's a small polyester lining by the ankles I guess to keep your legs protected from snow. I don't know why else. Either way, I don't intend to ski in the near future but at this price and the fact that I just wanted to own snow pants, I'm thoroughly impressed and satisfied. I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to own something I don't intend to use a lot but I do think I'll use these a lot at home. I own a lot of thick sweatpants and joggers, but I'm weird and I like using new things.

Warm and Fleece Lined!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I got these to go skiing and I'm really impressed with how warm they are. The fleece lining on the inside is very cozy and makes me not have to wear as many layers beneath which is nice. They are a very durable nylon material on the outside so fairly rip resistant since it is a good fabric. The pockets are also fleece lined and zip closed which is a huge bonus. The belt area being adjustable is really helpful in case I do need to switch up the layers beneath and not have to wear a bulky belt with it. The bottom gaiters will be perfect for keeping out the snow and tucking into my ski boots. My wife says they are very flattering and that I'll look super cool on the mountain! My only complaint and the reason for four stars is that there are only two pockets. As a guy who usually wears cargo pants, this makes it a bit difficult. Aside from that, they are very functional for cold weather wear.

Very durable for outdoor winter activities!
These pants were worn by our 12 year old to snow ski. Lots of falls in the beginning, and the pants were awesome! My son stayed completely dry and he was warm. Bottoms fit great over ski boots. He has also used them to sled in the snow and the held up as well. Highly recommend for outdoor winter activitues. He is 5’7 and 125lbs in a men’s size medium. True to size.

Fantastic
excellent everything: Stitching, insulation, adjustability, durability, comfort and much more. These are not light wind breaker pants. Wear them over a pair of jeans or over base layer. I wish I had these years ago. Maybe consider some suspenders...

Poor fit
I’m tall- really long legs, so I ordered a size larger which is usually good. Length was ok- could have been longer…. But, they are way too tight. It is impossible to wear anything under them and still be able to zip them up- and they are really short waisted. You won’t be able to really bend over or any other motion other than walking.Trading for 2 sizes up only because they are warm, weather resistant, and seem durable.

I think it's a great value
Foreword: I have a fake ankle and getting long pants on/off is a pain! I got these for a quick pull on, now they're my go to.lots of features not posted in the advert. Not heavy, but hardy. My fit (32x32) fits perfectly. Good Job

Great snow pants for tough winter days
They are warm; they kept my legs and ankles dry; and they fit perfectly. They arrived just in time for a stretch of frigid weather and allowed me to take my daily walks. The wind did not cut through them.
