he prodigal filter has returned! 😂
After trying a cheaper generic alternative and being disappointed, I went straight back to the genuine Fluval product. Honestly, it was like welcoming back an old friend! 😂 Sometimes trying to save a few pounds just doesn’t pay off, and for me this was definitely one of those occasions. I know what I’m getting with the genuine high quality product and I’m very happy to be using it again, so are my fish as it works so well, and out lasts anything else we've tried. Lesson learnt. I’ll be sticking with Fluval from now on!

Fluval bio foam filters
The original bio foam filters I bought as they were on special offer. Good product. Other wise I would have used unbranded.

Quality but check the box contents
Fluval filters replacements. Quality product. I offset the filter change so that only half of the filters are changed. Each side is changed every 6 months. These do a great job. Simple to change as well. Always check the content of the box though, as I have received a box with missing foam before.

Top quality water filters for my axolotls
I use the 307 on both of my 40g axolotl tanks and they work so well. Changing the filters and cleaning on the filter casing is super easy
