Barron's AP English Language and Composition

The book showed up before I had expected it to, and it had everything I needed to know about the exam. Some of the stuff in it we didn't even cover in class, which was reassuring once I got to the test. Fantastic resource, I'm positive I got a 5.

My son had 5 AP exams in 4 days so he had to find a study guide that would be very efficient. Based on other reviewers, he chose this IDE and used it exclusively to study for his AP English. Today he received his results and received a score of 5. This guide is highly recommended!

This book was helpful but I wish that i would have bought it months before I was scheduled to take the AP test because when I purchased the book i didn't really have time to go through everything. Although the little that i did read really helped. Make sure that if you are purchasing the book you are buying it ahead of time! Highly Recommended ! - Josephyne

Its been raining here for days, and the book was perfectly fine thanks to being well wrapped in vacuum sealed plastic. I bought this because my school doesn't have an AP English class, but rather, all our English classes are honors courses and are meant to prepare students for the exam, albeit with a different focus. I can't say if it helps yet because I haven't taken the AP and I'm not done with the book. But it certainly looks promising.

Ordered this book for my younger sister who is taking a class with this book. From what i understand is that this is a workbook and if you plan on actually filling out the problems in this book. then you must buy new. Does provide much information

This book was great when I was in AP Lang in high school. Very helpful. It was required by my teacher anyways, but I'm glad I studied with it because it helped me mature as a writer and pass the class and exam.

It's okay if you have supplemental material and a teacher to guide you. You won't be able to get a 5 if you just rely on this book. You need to write essays and have a teacher to give you feedback.

Bought this for my cousin who's in high school and she wanted to use this along with other books to help her with her college application exams and such. She hasn't complained about them, we'll see how they'll do after she takes her exams.

Ordered for my student. I think she got her AP credit.
