SCHLAGE Addison Single Cylinder Handleset and Georgian Knob, Satin Nickel (F60 ADD 619 GEO)

I really like this handle set. We recently spruced up our front porch and two of the improvements/changes we made were painting the door and replacing the hardware. I love this choice. It's heavy duty, simple and dressy against the black. The only thing I don't like is the inside lock and that's minor. When locked the latch is at an angle rather than straight across making it look like the door is partially secured even though the lock is fully engaged. Like I said ... minor. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable and understated door handle.

Don't be deceived by the picture of the antique brass finish. While the construction of the hardware feels solid, if you are looking for a finish matching what is depicted as "antique brass" in the ad image, this is not going to fit the bill. What I received looked more grey than brass, had many horizontal black lines, and had dimpling in the clear topcoat on the trim plate.

I liked the design and weight of this knob set. I did not like the unusual finish, not at all a true brass. Easy to return and quick refund.

I’ll preface this review by saying this was the first time I’ve ever installed an exterior lock set. It took me almost three hours. It wasn’t until after searching YouTube that I figured out what I was doing wrong. AND, the directions that came with the set didn’t really help explain. If the lock set doesn’t fit properly, you snap off the outer side and replace it with a collar that came with it.So, yes, I would buy this again - I LOVE it. But, I’d pay someone to install - time is money, right?

I just replaced my front entryway doors with white fiberglass 3/4 glass doors and wanted black matte hardware that was well made and simple yet classic. I had Baldwin for a few years but found the finish and hardware didn’t hold up. I researched the highly recommended top ten brands and was pleasantly surprised that Baldwin seemed to have improved recently yet i couldn’t find the look and finish I wanted. I settled on the Schlage and couldn’t be happier. Well made, classic yet simple which works for a look that isn’t exactly traditional and modern enough, with the exact matte black finish I wanted. I was concerned a matte black finish may show fingerprints yet surprisingly it doesn’t. It cleans well with a soft clothe - don’t use cleaning agents to ensure the finish lasts. Highly recommend.

We had a handyman install this handle. He was a little peeved that there was no template to install the little black screw cover (below the interior handle) but didn’t say anything else about the installation. It looks great and we love it so far. It was only installed yesterday though so hopefully this review will remain the same in a few months.

I wanted brass but not shiny. It matches my bee door knocker also ordered from Amazon. I was nervous I would not get it in time but true to Amazon fashion it came the same day that the door guys need to in stall. I thought it was a great value.

Just bought a mid century ranch that had a beautiful new door, but funky, cheap gold hardware. Looked around locally and couldn’t find a true black hardware set we liked. Took a chance and ordered this and so so happy I did. Really nice set. Totally upgraded the look of the entry.
