This is a 5 star product, except for the following:- it gets very warm with extended use- usb-c cables don’t plug in flush with the ports on the device, there always seems to be a gap- you can’t close the laptop with it insertedNo other issues. For the best fit on the 13” macbook pro, use it with the magnetic adapter.

I ordered this to enable me to hook up and external monitor using HDMI but it didn't work after numerous attempts with my MacBook

I had high hopes for this product. Right off the bat, there are a number of MAJOR issues:(1) the device runs hot. It feels like it could overheat and melt/combust at any moment(2) The USB-C double input does NOT plug into my computer all the way, as the input thingies are too long to fit. I attached a picture here comparing a normal sized USB-C plug to what is on the device.(3) The standard USB does not work at all. This is because the USB input is too short to plug anything in all the way.Don't buy this bad boy.

If you only want to use this for 4 years then this is the product for you! If you want this to last, buy another brand. Unfortunately this was when it was full price but this is definitely worth $15 now!

Je pensais que le produit serait de qualité vu le prix et le principe du clip aimanté permettant une meilleure stabilité.Je n'ai pas réfléchi sur un point ! C'est que le mac ne se referme pas à cause de ce clip, qui s'avère au final inutile car le but est justement de pas retirer sans arrêt le hub. L'autre point en lien direct est que le produit ne rentre pas facilement. Certes il n'y a pas de jeu ! mais devoir sans arrêt l'enlever et le remettre me fait craindre une usure prématurée dans le temps.Au final je ne vois aucunement la raison de vendre ce produit à plus de 80€ juste pour un clip qui ne servirait que quand le Mac est déjà stable et posé sur une surface plane. Il aurait été bien d'étudier le système sans avoir de jeu à la fermeture et de permettre de refermer le Mac avec le hub dessus, sinon autant mettre un hub filaire.Le comble est que si vous enlevez le clip, c'est inutilisable, car il y a un gros jour avec les prises USBC / Thunderbolt car elles sont plus longues à cause de ce satané clip !
