Please Read This If You Are Missing Any Parts!
I ordered this game for my father for Christmas. When we opened the box we counted only 10 horses in the box when there is supposed to be 11. I was pretty upset at first and decided to post an original review. After a few hours of thinking I decided to go online to Across the Board's website and contact them directly. I came to find out that they are unable to respond to reviews on Amazon and that I most likely would've been unable to receive the missing horse unless I returned the product. However, their customer service is unmatched! They emailed me back within maybe 20 minutes (hopefully if you have this issue you have the same luck) and let me know that they would provide me a missing horse! I really appreciate their customer service, it is unmatched!Review:The game is a ton of fun and any horse gambler will love to play! Great for large groups or small group around the house. I recommend digging out an old poker chip set so you have those to “gamble” with. The craftsmanship is amazing! If you have a family member who loves the races or even someone that enjoys board games, this is one that is great for larger groups. I highly recommend it as a fun game for the entire family. I look forward to breaking it out whenever I visit my parents now!

FUN game
I bought this for myself, but played it with my nieces and nephews who had a super fun time rooting for their horses. The pieces are well made.

Great Quality
This game is built for durability and simply a quality product. Set up was easy and definitely worth the money. My family has so much fun playing together at large gatherings.

Husband loved it!
I bought this as a Father’s Day gift and it was a huge hit. He wasn’t sure about it when he first opened it but after the first game he loved it! Perfect for all ages and very easy to play and learn.

Family fun
Played this on Christmas and everyone had a great time. The only thing to know is that the horses are plastic and not metal. The way the bottom is made, it gets stuck a little bit in the whole and you have to give it a tug to get it out. This may improve over time. Not a big thing, but just something we noticed.

So.Much.Fun.
All ages love this game, and you can have just about as many players as you want. The board is well-made, solid construction. I deducted a "durability" star because the horses themselves aren't the most solid game piece ever made, but they should work fine for 99% of situations. We really enjoy the betting aspect, too, because you can buy in for a dollar and use poker chips as pennies - if you want to keep it low-stakes. We've also played with dollar bills - and THAT was a lot more shouting, but also a lot more exhilarating when you won. Get this game. It's a little pricey, but you'll play it forever and can use it for a great game night.

Great Time For Group
I’m an officer in many social organizations and this game is perfect for the hospitality room during conventions. I played for the first time two months ago at an event in Louisville and was hooked. Myself and many other kept asking “What’s this game called?” I came home and quickly ordered my own. Last weekend I hosted a small convention of about 40 people and had this in the hospitality room. The fun is infectious and soon everyone was jumping in. It was a mix of men and women from 20-85 having a blast. Alcohol not included... but it really helps. After the first race and 3rd drinks we gave every horse their own unique and slightly risqué names. Imagine 30 people in a hotel room cheering for “Ding-Dong poking ahead on the outside” (BTW, by far the only name I can list in this review without it getting deleted).Only request would be for the game maker or 3rd party to offer an upgrade to metal horses. The black plastic ones work fine, but with the board being such high quality wood the mundane plastic pieces seem odd.
