Tarot - Gold and Black Edition: 78 full colour cards with gold foil impressions & instructions

Although these cards are very beautiful in their black and gold layout and the box is rather nice and solid, the actual quality of the card is poor. They are thin, too thin like thick paper. When I opened my box I found the cards to be bent and I cannot straighten them even after putting a heavyweight on them for 24 hours. But, as I said they are beautiful and the box is very nice and well made, but still, they are way overpriced. I paid £30.00 for my box and I see some shops sell them for £40 or more. I personally think they should sell for the same price as any other deck of Tarot, so between £15.99 to a maximum of £20.00. But still, they are a beautiful addition to any Tarot collection.

I love these cards they look and feel amazing. They are very thick and can be hard to shuffle if you have small hands or short fingers. The other issue I had with these cards is that the black colour comes off easily with shuffling especially on the edges. They are beautiful to look at and to read with but not worth the money when it comes to the quality.

Some of the cards were a poor quality cut. Bits of white at the top. Wonky lettering at the bottom. Very disappointing.

Was bought as a gift, they’re good quality and very beautiful. They come in a stunning box and have a guidebook which is brilliant as this was for a beginner. Was strange that the cards were quite bent even though they were in an unopened box, so I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. So unusual. They’re still good and can be used though. It’s not very noticeable when you use them. Need to get some myself now, they’re a beautiful set.

The look lovely but not good quality and arrived bent.

I thought the cards could be a little thicker as seem thin however, they are nice and just the right size for my small hands and I am pleased with them. I felt very drawn to them. I also liked the presentation box that they came in.

Cards perfect and lovely box

A nice addition to the Black and Gold edition. The card is thicker than the Black and Gold and shuffles nicer. I think the card will last longer because the gold one does have nicks on the edges where the gold comes off.The box is sturdy and it's all similar, just a reverse in colour.
