i haven't read the book but am researching the subject and i think that this is actually a publication of the author's master's thesis - which is currently available for free on scribd.com

This was a big letdown for me. The style of writing is very amateur...and it sounds like it was written by someone who is trying to find out about the record for the first time, collecting a load of quotes off google and adding very little around it. The guy says in the opening that he'd only heard this record recently and i was hoping for something by a bit more of a veteran. I've been listening to this thing almost non-stop since 91 and i was hoping for something a bit more hardcore...especially seeing as it's £32 for a 60-odd page paperback that you can read in one sitting.

I just received this book and I'm just a little disappointed in the size of it, for the price I paid it's pretty skinny. Since I love the band I guess I'm okay with it.
