This trading card booster pack is an excellent gift for any fan of the TV show Dinosaur King. My kids watch the show on Netflix and they have absolutely no idea that you can get these cards in 'real life'. I'm considering hiding some cards in the back yard and letting them 'find' them on their own like the kids do on the TV show.If you're not a fan of the show, but like trading card games, then this is a trading card game. That's all I can say about that. I honestly don't know how to play this game, and I know my kids also don't know how to play this game, but I know they know how to 'act' like they're 'playing' the game. Hope i'm not using too many 'quotes'.

Dinosaur King at a glance, no game experience
My 4.5 y/o loves these cards, and it is actually kind of cool that they all correspond to specific moment(s) within the tv show. He takes these everywhere and, oddly enough, was a good reason to teach him rock/paper/scissors. However, if you actually want to play the card game, you'll need at least 2 full starter packs - and the packs we received in the Dino King booster pack set of 2 packs had fully 5 duplicates between them. Luck of the draw, I guess.The tv show is an entry-level anime appropriate for kids 4+ that is basically Pokemon with actual dinosaurs and fun characters. If your child happens to get into the show, it's actually watchable for (most? it has some funny joke moments) adults but you probably will be asked/begged for cards...and, sigh, one of those card reader thingys. Once we receive the card scanner, I'll review that post...honestly, I'm expecting a very basic toy but if it actually reads the cards...heck, I might start playing.

The package arrived earlier than estimated. My daughter loves the cards, even though she doesn't know how to play the game, she likes to pretend the moves and fights like in the real show! They cards come in a good variety pack. I am going to get her more for her collection!

My son loves these cards!
My son found this show on Netflix and fell in love with it. I couldn't find the cards in store. Sure enough, Amazon has it! I bought this two pack and my son loves it! It came with 18 cards in total and they are pretty cool.

Great for dino lovers
A gift for my son who loves the show and dinosaurs. He loves and plays with it all the time. He's even taught his little sister how to play.Purchase and delivery went great. Great price. I would definitely buy from them again!
